In regards to SoSpectacular's vid of the LIB Orion V, I remember riding Omnitrans's Orion V CNG's originally delivered with the L10G, but I also remember them having a deeper sound. Wish I had a recording to compare.

The C8.Gs have no personality whatsoever.

 

I'd beg to differ as they always hauled, proven by their force and quick acceleration. They were even alright in the C40LF's

 

Nobody else likes the Series 40?

 

It's alright, but nowhere near my favorite. Nearby Foothill Transit got some for their 2000 Gillig Advantage's. I can only describe them as a basic engine for a basic bus.
