Rick44 Posted January 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2013 Wasn't sure whether to make a new topic, or post this in the service investments thread, but I figured it's good to make a new topic so it's headlined. Anyways, yeah it's updated. Map: http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/manbus.pdf Notes: http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/manbus2.pdf
Q43LTD Posted January 7, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 7, 2013 The notes are updated, not the map itself
B35 via Church Posted January 7, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 7, 2013 The notes are updated, not the map itself look again, carefully.... the B39 is on the map in red and the extended M9 to battery park city is in purple. Well that, and it says "January 2013" on the map in the lower left hand corner.

Rick44 Posted January 7, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted January 7, 2013 I had to double-check the site when you posted that, and on my laptop - it showed the old one. Went on the PC where I first saw it just now, and it's there. Probably a cache issue.
Fresh Pond Posted January 7, 2013 Share #6 Posted January 7, 2013 they made a mistake on it...the M103 doesn't show a terminal on the map at Park Row so at first glance, one would think it goes to Battery Park City as well lol
Far Rock Depot Posted January 7, 2013 Share #7 Posted January 7, 2013 It also shows the 1 train terminating at Rector and shows South Ferry as "Temporary Closed"
checkmatechamp13 Posted January 7, 2013 Share #8 Posted January 7, 2013 The M15 & M34/34A stops in East Midtown look a little weird. Maybe it's just me. I'm wondering when they'll release the ones for The Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn. Because I checked earlier today and say the old ones. (I almost forgot the service changes had actually gone into effect already. I guess because the ones out here haven't started).
Gotham Bus Co. Posted January 8, 2013 Share #9 Posted January 8, 2013 The notes are updated, not the map itself Look at the trail-off at 181st Street. The Bx13 note should indicate "Bronx Terminal Market" instead of Yankee Stadium.
Rick44 Posted January 8, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted January 8, 2013 I think we should all expect some errors in the Manhattan map. Seems as if they posted that forthright, with no checks for errors, due to Manhattan being the main borough. Manhattan being the main borough is not my opinion, it's how I think the MTA and DOT see the city.

Manhattan being the main borough is not my opinion, it's how I think the MTA and DOT see the city. Yeah the real question is why do they constantly post things and not check for errors? Really ridiculous. They call themselves making things easier for folks but yet they constantly do stuff like this... Kind of defeats the purpose... Baseball02 Posted January 8, 2013 Share #12 Posted January 8, 2013 Well, I guess the Manhattan Bus map was updated first because it had the fewest changes. The other boroughs have bigger changes, so it will obviously take them longer with the other boroughs.
