R32 (Z) train. There were a bunch of foamers on the train. I also met two foamers that are from the forums.

Not that I know who it was, but why do you refer to everybody as 'foamers'?

I just think it's another word for a railfanner and wouldn't mind using foamers.

Nah, big difference dude. You don't wanna be called a foamer.

Why is that?

Foamer implies somebody obsessive, kind of person drooling over trains who makes everybody day's worse by getting in the way of the system just to fuel their obsession. It's a derogatory term used everywhere from this forum to the offices of the high-ups at the MTA. You might wanna call yourself a railfan, a fan, or sometimes people say buff. Foamer's not a good phrase.

Thanks. I understand the difference now.

So you were the Asian kid with the smartphone on the train... I was the one with the scooter. (I don't remember if I brought it, if I did then I was the kid sitting next to the door closest to the front, opposite side from the cab. Nice pics.

Yup! I used my old carmera before but my smartphone has better space and the views are not that blurry. I will use my smartphone for railfanning until I get a better and modern carmera.
