RSMG106 Posted April 1 Share #5456 Posted April 1 (edited) All NGs that are assigned to Eastchester, will no longer be seeking revenue service from the depot. The remaining NGs: 4247, 4345, 4485, 4487, 4488, 4506, and 4588, are either retired or to be sent to LaGuardia, JFK, or Baisley Park. This marks the end of an era for Eastchester, as it is the first Bus Co. depot to remove all of their Orions (1999-2024). The bus isn’t active, it has not been active since February, and we are now in April of this year. As far as ENY NGs that are active only 4200-4201 and 4478 are. 4187 hasn’t been active since March 26th so the bus is most likely under maintenance, and 4473 has not been active since the 12th of that Month.

ECH has only had local buses since NYBS was taken over by MTA Bus on July 1, 2005 and once the MTA took over Queens Surface, the MTA transferred the QBx-1 (now the Q-50) to ECH Depot. The NYBS owner did not want the Orions.

RSMG106 Posted April 5 Share #5471 Posted April 5 (edited) 7507 from Jamaica, in which it got damaged in 2022, has been repaired and is currently at Zerega, pending service return (Could go to Gun Hill and displace 8356 or 8357 to Jamaica). I doubt it would displace any bus to Jamaica since they still have to make up for 7490 at Gun Hill. I highly doubt it would go to anywhere else except gun hill. Not sure why they need to cover for a unit that's at Grand Ave and was already covered with a Nova in the swap with Gun Hill.

Gun Hill ended up losing 7490 to Grand in September.
