  1. Guys look at this E-mail sent from NICE Dear Jose, The n88 schedules can be view on our website at NICEBUS.com. I have attached a copy of the schedule for you to view. As of yet I do not have any info regarding the June changes, as soon as we get more info I will email you. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us through the web. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY INFO ON THE ROUTE CHANGES IF THE CHANGES ARE LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY!?!?!?!
  2. It's ironic how no one said shortening the S23 to it's route before it's Extention to WWM. The S23 even though it was extended, has little ridership on the bus. I was the only one on the bus when I had that April Fanning from Wydanch to Close to Five towns. Then again, the reason for the S23 to be extended was to give people a second way to WWM and foR riders in the area to have closer vice to some part of civilization. As the nearest busses were half a mile from where the S23 ran. The S1/S29 were not good alternatives at that time. I would support a S25 Extention toSUNY or WWM because of the fact that less transfers would be made to other connecting bus routes.
  3. Retain Rush Hours Only Via 6 Avenue Retain Operate via 6avenue from Jamaica Center-2 Avenue. Off Peak Express with Rush hours and 1:00 trip only past Myrtle Next: A TRAIN Derails into the waters of Broad Channel. Police are investigating the matter, and service between Howard Beach- Broad Channel is suspended. Reroute the services
  4. A TRAIN IS stuck between the switch From Local to Express Track between 33 and Queensboro Plaza
  5. By flying in the air, I mean by like going high by altitude, then coming back down. That Flying
  6. Because the West End Line is hit by something and goes flying up in the air , then lands in the waters of The Rockaways, there is flooding in the Rockaways and the West End Tracks (elevated) is also taken. Somehow, Coney Island suffered sever damage and a the glass fell throughout the tracks 1-6 and the platform. Tracks 7-8 was sent up in the air. An R68 later falls onto the Astoria EL between 30 Avenue and Broadway. The Marine Parkway Bridge is destroyed.
  7. Yes, I think the President of all the Companies was someone named Jerome Cooper IIRC
  8. What about the Woodhaven Blvd restructurement. Q11/Q21: Green Lines Q53:Triboro QM15: Green Lines BM5: Command
  9. Probably, what the Q7 CAN do to get to Green Acres, is below: Q7 Green Acres Bound Regular Route to JFK Cargo Area, then out via 150 street, and Nassau Expressway, sharp left onto Guy R. Brewer Blvd, right on 147 Avenue, and either left on 243 street or F. L. Blvd, then Right on Merrick Road Q7 Brooklyn Bound Green Acres, Merrick Road, then left on either F.L BLVD or 243 street, then 147 Avenue, left on Farmers, onto the Nassau Expressway, out at North Hanger Road Exit, then on Boundary Road,( since there is no 150 street exit) onto 150 Avenue, around the Cargo Area, and Regular Route
  10. Update: 8A: Extended to East Hampton via S90 routing. S68: Two trips to Riverhead, one via East Hampton, the other via FGA
  11. Next: A bunch of rocks fall on the Brighton Line Near Prospect Park The Shuttle tracks are unaffecfted Tracks 2&3 are affected close to Parkside Tracks 1&4 are affected at the Switching of Prospect
  12. How about lets modify the Riverdale portion first, and then make the Bx37. NIMBY's man. They're everywhere
  13. It would be more connectivity. Although the pattern would be 8 minutes for the route weekdays except for middays, where it would be 15 minutes. Weekends, the route would operate at 15 minutes, with the exception of Sunday Morning Service, which would be 20 minutes
  14. Since I rode several brooklyn bus routes this week, and I think most need a lot of revamping. I'm touching the ones I rode this week only B1: Maybe a bus lane can be added? B4: New frequencies with 12 minutes off peak hours and 8 minutes rush hours. Service restored to Pre-2010 routing B6: Limited Service on Sundays can work out B7: Untouched B8: Have runs still run to 95 street station B70: For some reason, I feel like this route can be extended to Downtown Brooklyn via 3rd Avenue or 4th Avenue Others B41: I find the Branching Annoying, although there really isn't a way to fix that B82: Can use limited service weekends as well B2: Eliminated. The B100 will now run every 3 minutes rush hours and 10 minutes off peak hours to accomudate B2 Riders B54/Q55: Merger and extended on eastern end to Jamaica, called Q55 B67: Becomes a fully Limited bus with current frequencies, extended along Mc Donald to At Least Kings Hwy, and if demand, to Coney Island B69: Local version of B67, remains on Vanderbuilt Avenue, Follows B67 route to Kings Hwy or CI, runs at 8 minute frequencies rush hours and 15 off peak
  15. Next Scenario: Due to a New York City Bus falling onto the culver viaduct between Carroll and Smith Streets , the Culver viaduct is unpassible between the two stations.
  16. It doesn't have to go to Green Acres. It can go to Rosedale LIRR first, and if there is demand, than they can send it to Green Acres
  17. Because of a medical incident, ther is a stalled at Dekalb, and this happens when the Fourth Avenue Express tracks are frozen onto the Brighton Line Tracks.
  18. I'm guessing this was an old pic you had laying around. Anyways, the B51 was from Grand?! It should've been based out of JG
  19. Routes that I wont change the rotuings of: S23,S47,S66 S27,S56,s71 S29,S60, S33,S61 S41,s62 S45,s63 In my next update: Several eliminated bus patterns New Bus Patterns More Relabelings etc...
  20. Well I never said the loop cant happen, and I understand the S69 Scenario. However, I'm constently adding new patterns, as my map is not done yet, so dont think I'm ending there.
  21. I updated my map, so if anyone wanna see, check it for yourselves. Updates: S2 and S10 fully finish Certain ## routes modified and/or combined and relabed to S## New Routings in Coram and Sag Harbor etc......
  22. The map shows how all routes would like if I was to make the proposals. The 3C is the S3 and S4, the 3A and 3B are one loop going the 3A route first to Hauppague and From Happague down back via the 3B. This route would be called the S13 as its a combination of the two. The 3C was split up into two routes hence the names S3 (via Connectiqot Avenue) and S4 (via Part Time 3C and the villages ). That way, people can distinguish the route pattern. The 2A/2B will be modified in my proposals, you'll have to see it for yourselves though.
  23. I think all Weekend n20 buses should become n21 trips to Allieviate the off peak problems on the N20/21 corridor
