  1. I took the Q113 limited before, and there was this rookie I think, in January, when I took the 113 for the first time, that the passengers were signaling him to make stops at local stops, so Bascially it was liking riding a Q113 Local. So I thought if the 113 LTD was to be renamed then that would give the riders the signal the 113 is local and the 114 is limited. Just an opinion
  2. Next: A 9-1-1 call came from the 59 street station, reroute all trains. No trains can pass on the Southbound Side. Make all trains to operate on the express northbound track downtown and on the northbound track all northbound.
  3. Does anyone think the Q113 Limited should be relabeled. IMO it should. To Q114. The Q113 is Bascially different routing south of Guy R Brewer/ 147 Avenue
  4. The stops on the are not far from each other, that you can see them not even from the RFW . Liberty has enough service with the . Also, the Q112 is enough on Liberty on the opposite side. Brooklyn is fine without liberty Avenue Service. The nearest bus is like 1-2 blocks away, so I kinda saw the B12 go bye bye on that portion. Maybe the Q112 can be more frequent by 2-3 minutes rush hours and 7 minutes off peak times so that It fits. Also, Isnt the Q111/Q113 and Q110/Q112 interlined with each other, so that may be possible
  5. Well that's what I meant, Adding trips to AC for more convienence. And this wont be all year that I propose this. I havent been on that part of NJ Transit, yes I admit. The only routes I really know are in the north. (e.g, 171, 175, 181, 188 , 191, 195, etc.)
  6. So you are telling me that since it would have to be a split, that the 67 would have to interline with the 319. But the 319 is split with Egg Harbor. I know that deadheading has a value also, but isn't the proposal based on the customers needs more than the operator's wants. Can't Egg Harbor than operate it. Other Proposals: 64/68: Combine the 64 route with the 68, discontinuing the GSP route. The 64 would operate the entire routing of the 68 then follow the 139 route to Lakewood. Also the 64 would be extended to serve those part time trips the 67 currently serves. These 67 trips would be transferred unto the 64 line.
  7. No, the BM5 originally ran to the BM2 terminus in Canarsie rush hours. All other times, it terminated at SCT
  8. Okay I take back my 67 proposal of discontinuing the 67. However I have another proposal for the 67. 67: Extended to Atlantic City during the summer instead of transfering to the 319 weekends
  9. Well I think the M1 doesn't need to be extended down to the village, because of 2 other routes parallelling most of the route below 106. What I would do is switch the limited stop pattern to the M3, and retain the M2 as a local all day
  10. Or he might've hated it when it was Bxm4A/B ( not trying to get to another story). The Q26 would remain under his plan, just the Hollis Ct part would be discontinued.
  11. Or the Q112. The thing is that the junction at Woodhaven will mess this service up. The lights take forever in that side for anyone to Cross Woodhaven. Besides, Liberty Avenue is one way from Woodhaven to the following street and a car can't physically cross from one side of liberty to the other at Woodhaven Blvd anymore. I think the 24 / 112 should get it. However I am not saying to extend anything here.
  12. Several things to Point out: I agree making the Greenpoint Avenue Segment like that. If that's the case with the Southern portion, might as well extend the B13 again, and possibly reroute it to serve Sunnyside From the times I rode the 24, I've seen a reasonable amount of people taking it past Sunnyside, so you might want to offer people I transfer from the northern to Southern portion, and vice-versa. For the 38, The train station IMO still is the best option for riders, however if the 67 were to be combined with the 38, it would have to go still to the station. If anyone wants to see my Q38 proposals, they are in my queens bus proposals map, which I put a link to it. You'll have to find the links, because I'm writing from a mobile phone.
  13. Only to the Spring Creek Towers, the rest was part time when Command Ran it
  14. You do realize that that circuitous portion was rush hour only. I don't know though if he means it however like every day or just weekdays or rush hours or only off peak periods. It's a good idea since it takes some load of the BM2, and that area has a express to Midtown without going through lower manhattan, even if it skips lower manhattan. The BM5 is a better option and that area demands it. Think about it, attracts more riders, cop goes down
  15. I agree with you on the one. Besides, it was qj who came up with that open door idea. If it happens, then that's defeating the purpose of a express bus
  16. The 88 would takeover Eliot Avenue's Q38 portion. So, as I was saying, 69 street Below Eliot doesn't need service at all, except rush hours. Maybe reroute some 88s unto 69 street, alternate, so a bus seces 69 every 7 minutes, so does one along fresh pond. The station is a better place than fresh pond because of its geography around it. The 88 would serve a train station, which is a critical link to Brooklyn and Manhattan. I have to deal with a thing called the Q38, and it's getting better, but the headways aren't enough. That's why, on weekends, the heavier used sections gets 15-20 minute headways, while the least used portion is used 30 minutes flat out throughout the weekend.
  17. Okay, all I saw was S67 to Brooklyn, and that plan is so-so. One thing I've learned from these proposals is not too overserve and underserve routes, and that the current layout is made for a reason. The only time I see it working is probably during rush and evening, no midday. Surprisingly, there are more evening riders and midday. Strange
  18. I'm planning to fan SI during several days after my return in the summer, and I probably make several analysis on several buses. This will be varied on different periods of the day and different buses at different times to really understand the SI bus system. Just letting' you know. For now I have no proposals.
  19. I stated the 139 would replace it the whole way (except for part-time service)
  20. Because of a situation at Queens Plaza, reroute the . The express track cannot be used. The local track also is stuck on the Crosstown Line tracks. Reroute the
  21. The thing is I wouldn't want to make the 88 too lengthy I've also thought about it, but because of heavy traffic in that area, the limited will just be a local bus making few stops at the same mph the local goes.
  22. NICE Will not do that. NICE is being too nice with the 80/81 and not too nice with the 6. As for the n79 to RF, I wouldn't do that. I personally think it was a good idea to truncate it to Hicksville. The reason is that mostly everyone gets off in Hicksville and More People get on. That was a good idea. As for the n24/n79, the schedules have to be cooridinated better, that's all. Besides, NICE gives two more transfers after getting on one bus route, so I dont see the logic in anyone complaining about this
  23. Several Proposals 316: Seasonal Service discontinued. Several 551 buses however will make up for the loss 551: Service extended to Cape May 4 roundtrips a day during the Summer to replace 316 67: Discontinue 339: Service extended via 67 former routing to Toms River. 317: Extended to Red Bank via 832 routing, then 835 route to Sea Bright
