  1. A lot of the routes, including the B1, still used artics today with little to no issues. Even during the snowfall on Tuesday, a lot of the artic buses ran fine with a few isolated incidents that can also happen to standard-sized units.
  2. It was weird to see that some routes didn't use artics today while other routes did (due to the snowfall in the morning), though the plus side is that some of those units got a needed break.
  3. In this case, the decals don't mean s***. Some buses get them randomly and its been happening for over a decade. Also, only 3-4 Novas have Far Rock decals so I wouldn't use that as an indicator that Far Rock is getting a dedicated fleet.
  4. Unlike Eastchester, JFK has Xcelsior artics on their fleet so they wouldn't need extensive training for the 40-footers like Eastchester needed. They can do with borrowing a unit or using the first delivered unit for training like they did with 9029. Baisley borrwed 8960 when they were prepping for the arrival of the Novas.
  5. The QM21 has two drop-off stops along Queens Blvd (83rd Ave, Main St).
  6. IIRC, a lot of the buses there are just collecting dust these days.
  7. They still have 132 units. Unlike JFK, LaGuarida hasn't gone on a retiring spree yet.
  8. That's something some users here have admitted to using to post moves on the forum. Some swear by it while others question its accuracy.
  9. I hope that source is not the discord tracker bot. @SevenEleven is a reputable source here.
  10. Those 3 are still in the system. Admittedly, I don't know if they're currently present at the depot.
  11. 4117 and 4646 are retired. The other two are only oos. Side note, 4037 is retired. Also, there are 17 OGs left at JFK: 3668, 3675, 3677, 3695, 3698, 3700, 3708, 3713, 3743, 3748, 3751-3752, 3754, 3756, 3762-3763, 3782.
  12. Pretty sure CP can do that in-house. People seem to forget they have their own fleet of DIESEL coaches that they refuel there. Anyone can feel free to correct this.
  13. They got others to take their place and the retired ones are useful to salvage parts for the active units.
  14. Some West Farms units stick around for a month or two. Its happened often with other units from that depot so I wouldn’t go labeling this a transfer yet.
  15. Have those been towed out or are still sitting at the depot?
  16. Novas delivered so far: BP: 8964-8966, 8970, 8972, 8975, 8977-8979, 8983, 8985, 8987-9005, 9007-9009 (33*) FR/JK: 9010, 9012-9014, 9017, 9019-9020, 9022, 9024-9025, 9028-9031, 9033-9046, 9048-9049, 9051, 9053, 9060-9061, 9063-9064, 9067, 9070, 9074, 9080 (40) *Asterisk as it was reported that 9006 was delivered but it has yet to be spotted.
  17. It was only a loan. Bus was sent back to Far Rock yesterday.
  18. Let's hope they don't. MetLife is hosting eight games in 2026 and will most likely be almost at capacity depending on who plays. There have been so many instances where NJT and/or Metlife have screwed over people trying to leave the stadium. WrestleMania in 2019 comes to mind where passengers had to wait hours before a train showed up after the show ran long.
  19. Well whatever's the case, I would of been ok with the proposal of bringing a new railcar had they planned any changes as soon as the world cup was awarded. The final wasn't even awarded until Sunday. I think bringing in new equipment from a buildier that NJT is not familiar with is a bad idea if an early 2026 deadline is put as things can go south during the tournament. If its for future-proofing after the world cup, then maybe.
  20. Nah, its too late to invest in a railcar that is so unfamiliar to NJ Transit and with less than two years to order and prep workers for it. Not to mention, MetLife is only hosting 8 games: June 13, 16, 22, 25, 27, 30th and July 5th & 18th (Final). A system like that would be pretty useless after that as the tournament is only 39 days long.
  21. This is more akin to the long-term loans Tuskegee Airmen have from other Bronx and Manhattan depots.
