  1. But how do you know you scored well? Is your random list number in the low ##? Did the answer key get published?
  2. I simply don't understand how that's possible. Because I know someone else who took that same exam and he's still waiting for the results to be posted.
  3. What part of that sentence made it seem like I was asking for specifics? Jeez... 😒
  4. I meant to say Next Stop Grand Central but thank you.
  5. I didn't miss the part, I know what he said. What I was asking isn't a sense of entitlement, he said he couldn't share details, that's fine (although why would you even say something in the first place is beyond me), all I asked was if routes were on the table for elimination. I wasn't asking him to show me the entire plan front and back.
  6. I'd flip the northern terminals, have the & go to 207th St & 168th St and the to 205th St, and have the & be CPW Express.
  7. R142A: TO 125 ST THE NEXT STOP IS TIMES SQ-42 ST LEX AV SHUTTLE 1:55 PM
  8. I'm sorry but I find that very hard to believe. Unless you were rescheduled from an earlier exam, it's simply impossible for you to be this far ahead in the process when it's not even a month yet.
  9. It still dosen't matter. The point is people from Astoria have the if they want to go to 49th St. The needs to merge at 57th St and not at 34th St where the diverge speed is lower then the other.
  10. Because I've used the a LOT pre-pandemic when I lived in Astoria. It's not many people getting off at 49th St. The on the other hand have a lot.
  11. Alright, here's some new routes: B10: (Formerly B2 + western portion of the B82) Avenue V to Coney Island via Bensonhurst. B12: (Formerly B82) Spring Creek Towers to Ave V. B44 LCL: Southern Terminal Rerouted via Gerritsen & Knapp St to Ocean Av & Ave Z.
  12. Not exactly, sometimes they'll tell people to go to the other gate that's not at an angle.
  13. Because that's a combination of riders most of which come from the and . The dosent have to stop there.
  14. But you haven't started the employment process yet correct?
  15. And this is where I tell to stop getting scared and just do it. Why are we going to inconvenience everyone else for the few amount of people that use 49th St?
  16. Dam, I was rooting for Proterra to win the order since they have the best battery range out of all of them.
  17. https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/new-jersey-to-pay-65m-for-abandoned-rail-to-create-a-9-mile-high-line-park/3398788/?_osource=SocialFlowFB_NYBrand
  18. I'm going to have to disagree with you on some parts. The to 179th St and via Hillside Express was going to be a problem from the start since, let's face it-it's the . Today, you could get away with de-interlining by extending the instead to 179th St in place of the . Which actually would have made more sense when the was around. To the & swap, I don't know who's smart idea it was to have them grouped like that in the first place, especially being that they share the same CPW corridor. Going to the extension of the Astoria Line to LGA, the extension would work yes, but you make the problem along Broadway even worse with way how the is designed to operate by crossing in front of 's and 's. This is where deinterlining comes into play. You can waste all that money extending it to LGA but forget to fix the major problem that plagues the today.
  19. Does anyone know why TA waits 3-5 months to publish the answer key instead of the week right after?
  20. No one know's what MTA is doing. #1100 was just administered two weeks ago and somehow, 2 people are halfway through pre-employment.
  21. I get that, but if a planner is telling you this in a public setting that I'm not sure why you can't repeat it... In any case, I wasn't asking for sepcific details, I just wanted to know if any routes were being discontinued is all.
