    I didn't laugh react at your post, I upvoted it. Yes, the opposition is because people don't want things to change. Look at Country Club, they wanted to reroute something and they lost their minds.

    The community strongly apposed cause they don't want anything to change. With that mentality we'll never get anywhere with these redesigns, needs to toughen up honestly.

    Yes. Look at what LA Metro does, they have one continuous loop line with increased frequency to connect riders with other routes. If Co-Op needs more then the Bx23 then reroute the Bx29 to serve all loops except 5.

    I heard something like an old SMEE at Rockefeller a few hours ago and you could basically smell the R9's even though they left. The holiday train is coming back!

    Exactly. There was a reason why they changed those routes in the first place. Just because a community is opposed to change doesn't mean you just don't change the route at all.

    Does it need multiple bus lines or just increased frequency? There's no point in having the Q50 go there, that was the entire point of splitting the QBx1 in the first place.

    Yes. Why does Co-op city need to have 3 bus lines serving it?

    I'm sorry, but all these communities who don't want routing change screw up the redesign for everyone else. At this point, is only 20% of the original draft plan being implemented? That's ridiculous.

    Ditmars was build in a bad spot. What you could instead do is have a flat Junction similar to Myrtle-Bway and have the LGA branch split off after the repositioned Astoria Blvd station. Have the continue to serve Ditmars Blvd and the to LGA 24/7.

    Going back to the topic of the S40, when does it get crowded for people going to Amazon? I'm shocked regular riders who aren't going to Amazon haven't complained about the delays & over crowding.

    They should do what Newark Express does and just run 45 footers on the Q70.
