I blame for letting these dollar vans get this insane in the first place, ever since the 2010 BKLYN cuts they let the dollar vans come in and wreak havoc on the discontinued bus lines.

Because they don't have a dedicated team to run it. The Social Media team is busy enough with the rants from passengers, and that leaves no one else to update them.

I am HIGLY annoyed with MTA right now, My or or whatever the hell it was was 4 minutes late leaving Ditmars because the signs on the R46 absolutely SUCK and they were trying to fix them. And because of this, I missed my train connection at GCT. Why are they in such a goddam rush to implement CBTC!? Ridership isn't even back yet, just wait for the dam R211's to come in. Rant over.

I don't agree with cutting the SWEP 6 trips, those trips are highly used and will only delay and crowd the other 6 trips more. And the BxM4c is bound to get eliminated at this point, it's a matter of time.

No not same day, that would be historic lmao. It will be in the order people complete the exam. It *MAY* be sped up because of the shortage, but imo, since the last MTA Bus Exam thread seems to be quiet, it will be fast. Also, I highly suggest EVERYONE that did not get the Google form (excluding those of you that recently applied), to email the exam unit and tell them the problem.

I'm all for an / extension to LaGuardia, I actually designed a plan that would have realigned the Astoria Line north of Astoria Blvd with the GCP. I was suppose to finish it but got caught up with real life. In my plan, Astoria-Ditmars would be demolished, and Astoria Blvd would be moved back about 800 feet, then the line would curve towards the right following the GCP all the way to LGA. No NIMBY's, no problem.

In the 25 years I've been driving in this city, the amount of reckless delivery bikes + commuter bikes are way more then reckless drivers.

I have to disagree with you and agree more with Spectacular. Trying to FORCE people to use public transit by taking away travel lanes to include bike lanes is not the way to go about it AT ALL. Not to mention some of these bike lane designs are incredibly stupid (i.e Broadway in the Bronx north of 242nd St). The amount of times I've seen an accident happen from drivers coming off the Henry Hudson Pkwy and onto Broadway northbound with bikes flying down the path is unfortunately to many, there's a massive blindspot. But NYCDOT won't care unless the bikes complain. The simplest way to put it is bikes are at war with cars. And I side more with the cars, which is why I will never drive in Manhattan again. They are incredibly reckless and don't care about anyone other then themselves. There's this bike dude on TikTok who cuses out everyone along the bike lane in TSQ and it's annoying. Back to the topic at hand, congestion pricing will do nothing to help with the Holland tunnel congestion. Perhaps if we stopped wasting money on bike infrastructure we could have built a 3rd tube, but what do I know?
