  1. There is nothing against Flatbush or anything, right now its the fleet is being distributed by need, and the OG CNG's at WF have massively retired causing XD40's to end up at WF. It shouldn't be bad, noting on how most of those buses will soon end up in their respective depot's soon enough, it just takes time.
  2. I am aware, but for employers who have less than 10 employees, they don't have to follow by the $15 minimum wage.
  3. I feel that no matter what distance you live in, students should have access to free transportation. There should be no reason that in 2019 a student isn't able to get to their school just because of their inability to pay a half fare, or because their family has economical struggles, or inclement weather outside. If most students have a Full Fare, then Half fare shouldn't be an option. In places like D.C. Students ride free, regardless of travel distance, and regardless of time. With the new fare payment system making its debut, it's about time that the Revises their student transportation policy, and re adjust their policies to include all students with free transportation. I know that distance is a bullshit excuse, because there are students who live less than a mile away from school and they are given Full Fare's for economical, or other reasons which just simply makes it unfair for others. Another thing is that people need to shut the f*ck up about students taking public transportation, it is none of their business to even instigate that, and we are no lesser than them in order for us to be chewed by some grown ass hypocrite who probably is stuck in a 9-5 job being paid less than $15 an hour. Public Transportation is PUBLIC. It is a system where anyone is entitled to use it regardless of age, color, race, or sex. I absolutely have no problem with students riding on buses and trains trying to get to an after-school, library, their home, a ball game, the park, or etc. It's their right as citizens of the City of New York to utilize the City's resources to their benefit. I am tired of seeing these people proselytize themselves as more than students just because they get a paycheck. I know some students can be @$$holes when on the bus, but it's life, nothing's perfect. Just as adults have a right to ride public transportation, so do students, because Public Transportation is in place to benefit everyone, not just a certain class of people, just because they want to be self centered and act like breadwinners. This is one big societal problem, and it is none of their business to be concerned over a Student's choice of travel.
  4. It may have been a good intention back then, but even Bus Operators wave them on when a Student hops in with a Half Fare... Especially if you're best option is a 1 stop ride on the Subway... At this point Bus Only, and Half Fare MetroCards should be eliminated.
  5. I was actually on various XN40's these past few days, and I have really noticed on how fast West Farms Depot has been installing the Clever Devices Information Screens, I wanted to know if there is more constant deliveries of the screens to the depot because only 3 WF C40LF's have gotten Vianova's and deployment has been slow. Does this have to do with the fact that Clever Devices is concentrated on the NG's and XN40's, or the fact that Vianova screens are being widespread in deployment?
  6. Our Infinite Master Cuomo has already taken the reigns of totalitarian control and he shall not let a peasant touch his astonishing accomplishment {F*CKED UP FAILURE AND NATURAL DISASTER} But shall we give him the blame once someone gets Lung Cancer because of Silica dust, may he not see himself re elected.
  7. Its not possible for NYCT Buses to have MTA Bus codes, because their codes overlap. (e.g. the M14A Code in NYCT is the Q114 Code for MTA Bus)
  8. There is nothing the can do but call the NYPD if they are posing harm to passengers, the city won't accept these people into shelters either, so where do you expect to place them anyway? Another thing is that wouldn't want to risk transit employees dealing with those people regardless. The city puts regulation, and employees in Transit do not have any rights to prosecute people.
  9. Well we can't sacrifice the need of space over a homeless situation, at the end of the day ridership may be in decline now, but can skyrocket in the future. We can't keep these small bumps in the road divert us from progress, and as stingy as the smell could be it is up to the politicians to get themselves at work with that matter, and unfortunately there needs to be heavy enforcement of the homelessness crisis which has only been made worse by the current buffoon warming up that chair at city hall. I support open gangway cars, and they are a capacity solution, along with new signaling in the future, we can't let "people" taunt us into scrapping concepts that can have a drastic change in the way we commute. The 21st century is already here, no one in 2019 should say that its impossible to do many things which have now been facilitated by technology and advanced methods of oversight and execution. The solution is a competent administration in the city which brings in sets of laws meant to combat homelessness, improve the shelter system in the city which is deplorable; Increase security at these shelter's which are notorious for conflict. The NYPD also has to be held accountable because not only is it a safety risk, but a hygiene, and lawsuit on the way case... For the 's case, their hands are tied because they have no control on what to do with these people, let alone where in hell will the move these people to if the city isn't willing to accept them in their shelter system. This crisis is to blame on this mayor, he is nothing but incompetent, inept for his job, and feels that he is entitled to do what he knows is wrong for the sole purpose of advancing his fascist agenda and shove it down everyone's throats; Just look at "Fair Fares" and we're just in day 4 of 2019... Things only seen in inept people...
  10. They are inside the buses on the actual overhead advertising panels.
  11. For some reason I've seen that as the case for all Manhattanville's NG's.
  12. Replacing the CNG Tanks is a very expensive process per bus. It makes much more economical sense to order new buses at a cheaper price.
  13. We were very proud that 9505 came into service, now less than a week its already in a crash.
  14. I completely agree, just because you have an account in the Forums, doesn't give you the right to fight or want to be on top of someone else. We are all human beings at the end of the day despite our differences, and we are here to express our concerns, learn new things, socialize with other people on a platform that is specifically for users interested in Transit. I feel that we should all respect each other regardless of our differences.
  15. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the machines during off hours, but for the Quarter machines (If you don't live near an +SBS+ route that doesn't operate late night) Try a parking meter after rules are no longer in effect. In the case of the MetroCard Machines, they do display that message on a Black screen, and do not do any functions until the route starts running again at its scheduled time.
  16. The Machines are still on, they Just display "Bx12 +SBS+ not running, use the Bx12 Local." The machines also do not accept payments during those hours... and for the Quarters machine, its just like the Parking meter during off hours.
  17. Will the current Buses delivered in the new scheme get them in their repaints?
  18. Idk, but they've been doing the same with the 1040's XN60 as well...
  19. XN60's 1040, 1041, and 1042 on their being delivered on the NB Side of the Bruckner Expwy one behind another. The only difference is that it has the New York City Bus logo on the rear, and it is on the same section where the WIFI and USB stickers are.
  20. Wait, if Queens won't get any new +SBS+ routes until 2021, which is when that borough's redesign has finished... How long will the time frame be for each borough from meetings to Implementation (Noting that SI took 3 years)
