    4810-4898 are the best 89 buses the MTA has (in my opinion) wow...what a bus...i will forever like them. This was a gift sent to me. :)

      @MattTrain...yup...and i love the engine transmission pack...sounds great...and the XD40s are breaking in very well, i love the rumbling when its switching gears

       

      @TTC. we all have our gifts...my subway gifts are probably the R160s. those all i grew up riding on the N/Q.

      Everything perfect happened on that bus...i was standing in high section, bus was very packed. We were flying down 86st, the bus was switching from LBSS to standard like twice when we really starting going! The bus had all different types of sound effects! Amazing! And i have like 7 different video clips of it, so im keeping it to myself instead of uploading them all to youtube of 1 bus.

    Dam yoo all these orders for Xcelsiors! Theres about 5,000 or more Xcelsiors in the United States, and counting, new flyer did a great job with the Xcelsior model and companies are racking up on Xcelsior buses, im curious to if the Xcelsior platform would stay available longer than other models. Now with all these beautiful Xcelsior it makes me look like a front runner, but i was down with Xcelsiors ever since Fairfax Connector got theirs.

      No bus is perfect, but the Quebec ones are pure crap, according to someone associated with the agency. Rush orders are dumb, though... just wait longer for a better product.

      The new RTS is a new RTS and I'll stand by this statement until MTS folds. Then the RTS is dead. End of story.

    Damn, I'm starting to lose interest in this hobby. Stuff is becoming corny and raggedy, and this hobby isn't gonna benefit me in life. I'm focused on bigger things that mean something for my future, and I suppose all I still have some kind of interests in are the Xcelsiors, and who knows, I might lose interests in those soon.

    Do not run for buses on snowy days! I saw 7 people fall today. 1 person needed ambulance. All happened in staten island. The hills and ice do not work well with sneakers and heels! Please be safe. Thank god people only felt pain instead of breaking any bones or getting cuts.
