Y2Julio 206 Posted October 15, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 15, 2009 Nice stuff. I'm surprised they didn't hassle you for taking photos. The UK is pretty anti-photographer.

Zman 8 Posted October 15, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted October 15, 2009 Thanks for all the comments. Nice stuff. I'm surprised they didn't hassle you for taking photos. The UK is pretty anti-photographer. You've gotta know when to take them and when not to take them. I wasn't approached not once; however, I was approached once in Montreal by two cops who told me not to take photos, I said ok and left it alone until much later that day. R44 5278 0 Posted October 16, 2009 Share #13 Posted October 16, 2009 Good job! I was just there 2 years ago and I loved those cushioned seats. But after hearing all those stories of hauntings, I always shivered upon entering the Tubes especially on the Waterloo line.

It's the oldest, but not the largest. The largest system is the Moscow Metro system.
LRG 217 Posted October 21, 2009 Share #19 Posted October 21, 2009 It's the oldest, but not the largest. The largest system is the Moscow Metro system. I thought the New York City Subway was the largest! With 468 stations and 722 miles of track, we should be! lol And I also thought that we had the oldest subway system as well.
Zman 8 Posted October 21, 2009 Author Share #20 Posted October 21, 2009 didja manage to catch the new 09 stock on the vic line? Nope, didn't get a chance. Rode it four times, went 0 for 4. I thought the New York City Subway was the largest! With 468 stations and 722 miles of track, we should be! lol And I also thought that we had the oldest subway system as well. We don't have the oldest system. Ours began in 1904 whereas London's opened up in 1863. As far as records go: Track miles - London Stations - New York Busiest - Moscow
