Nice stuff. I'm surprised they didn't hassle you for taking photos. The UK is pretty anti-photographer.

 

You've gotta know when to take them and when not to take them. I wasn't approached not once; however, I was approached once in Montreal by two cops who told me not to take photos, I said ok and left it alone until much later that day.

It's the oldest, but not the largest. The largest system is the Moscow Metro system.

 

I thought the New York City Subway was the largest! With 468 stations and 722 miles of track, we should be! :mad: lol

 

And I also thought that we had the oldest subway system as well. :confused:

Nope, didn't get a chance. Rode it four times, went 0 for 4.

We don't have the oldest system. Ours began in 1904 whereas London's opened up in 1863. As far as records go:

 

Track miles - London

Stations - New York

Busiest - Moscow
