Infamous85 Posted June 30, 2010 Share #751 Posted June 30, 2010 Hell no. The words of wisdom are..... Barf @ Flash for smartphones, did you see it on the Nexus One? I'd only like to use Hulu and other video sites (FREE ftw) but now they're charging for it. And it's blocked on the PS3.

DarrylR.14 Posted June 30, 2010 Share #754 Posted June 30, 2010 Woah, creepy. Upon entering this site, I looked to the right hand side of the homepage to see an ad.(Loews Resort(Lake Las Vegas) What's weird about it is that I'll be going to this same exact place in a matter of weeks. Coincidence, or "they" are looking at my web history...
R42 M Train Posted June 30, 2010 Share #755 Posted June 30, 2010 Today was the worst f**kING day of my life. First, I got into a huge arguement with my friend. I was so sad and pissed off. To make it even worse, my mom found a copy of the MTA photography rules and I asked me why i had it. I explained that I recently got stopped by a cop and didn't have it with me. She then told me not to take pics anymore. I just acted like I didn't care and she left. Now the only thing in my life that I ever enjoyed is ruined thanks to a f**king misplaced paper. I just crying my eyes out now!:cry::cry::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Grand Concourse Posted July 31, 2010 Share #763 Posted July 31, 2010 They are so the switches do not become frozen during the winter. It is normal and 'safe'. Safer than the switches freezing up and trains going into the wrong track pocket.

Damn you FRA. :pEven the UK has HSR now and the UK rail network ist the worst of Europe, because of privatization;) http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=309559#post309559 Edited August 1, 2010 by Citaro
Grand Concourse Posted August 1, 2010 Share #768 Posted August 1, 2010 Which is quite sad. Damn you FRA. Because if a person wants to get from say San Fran to NYC, they'll take the plane than the train. HSR works better in Europe because their countries are smaller and flying would make sense if it was country to country.

Citaro Posted August 1, 2010 Share #770 Posted August 1, 2010 What is HSR? High Speed Rail LOL! Because if a person wants to get from say San Fran to NYC, they'll take the plane than the train. HSR works better in Europe because their countries are smaller and flying would make sense if it was country to country. Planes are efficient to go from one contient to an another but between two cities in a country it just destroys the environment.
Grand Concourse Posted August 1, 2010 Share #771 Posted August 1, 2010 Do you even know how far it is from San francisco and NYC? This isn't like flying from Berlin to London. No one in the US is going to want to take a long train ride [thru varying geological terrain like mountains] over flying which takes at least 5-6 hours from coast to coast.

Your gov have to stop subsidize ioil, then the people will ride by train, because of costs.
Infamous85 Posted August 2, 2010 Share #773 Posted August 2, 2010 Your gov have to stop subsidize ioil, then the people will ride by train, because of costs. Do you know how long that'd take? Lol the U.S. Is about the same size as Europe, the distance between NYC & San Francisco is probably like the distance between Moscow and Lisbon. 12-13 hours on a train (going 200 mph) when a flight is about 1/3rd of that.
Nova RTS 9147 Posted August 2, 2010 Share #774 Posted August 2, 2010 I found out that while me and my family were at my uncle's wake, my eighteen year old sister was getting drunk at her friends house.
