F**k, from the cover I already knew where this was. Used to live not so far from there years ago. As for PD at least they did not excessive and lethal force. I have to give them that.
Pakenhamtrain Posted January 18, 2014 Share #8054 Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) How's this for a Finish. Australia looked like they would loose for all money. England only needed one wicket. Friggin liars! Greedy heartless scumbags! Look at your upper class fundraisers and lobbyists and politicians who are stealing funds for lavish vacations. Loopholes are besides the point, it is disgustingly unethical. Now look who's grabbing up the 'handouts'. Not just the poor in the decimated minority. Been that way for as long as I remember. Editorial: Don't listen to some of these insidious extremist right wing politicians, they are wolves in sheeps clothing causing this American capitalist model to go on the verge of collapse instead of making it work for all Americans of the middle class who they are trying to literally eliminate to widen the gap. Government shutdown over a bill anyone ? Truth for the mind. Edited January 20, 2014 by realizm
realizm Posted January 20, 2014 Share #8059 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) As a married couple stated yesterday to me, thats why they don't read the news sometimes, with the corruption in government, it will incite you to anger. Don't blame her, however concerning current events, knowledge is key. Edited January 20, 2014 by realizm

realizm Posted January 21, 2014 Share #8061 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) Simply put the disconnect has never been as high before. The best thing to do in spite of this is to construct your life accordingly so that no matter what the government does you can live your life and succeed, shattering glass ceilings with no shame. This is why I am in Nursing school and in the IT field at the same time looking for a career change because I am gonna get mines despite the cockblocking of the rich, no matter how hard it gets. I dont think so. In fact I am being assigned to new computer specialist contracts to work computer hardware this time, this time the IT firm will work with my school scedule. Finally!! A flex scedule right on time, I have struck a deal with them and the client. They will start throwing work at me so I can make that money as I go to school and the internship. Its going to be tough but with people who are lower middle class thats what they must do to succeed by bounds unknown, to reach our dreams, as we don't receive shit on a silver plate. All I have to do at this point is redo paperwork nonsense, otherwise the deal is practically done. Current republican policy certainty however is not helping those struggling, they better shape up or ship OUT come election day. I said what I said, like it or not, Feel free anyone who disagrees, to debate my point. I totally up to it. Hard work pays off, absolutely. However I greatly do not appreciate the heartless attitudes of these teabaggers. This is a democracy not an absolute autocratic dictatorship. It amazes me how the bickering in Congress can affect everyday Americans and really hit home to the point it is sickening. peacemak3r Posted January 22, 2014 Share #8065 Posted January 22, 2014 Honestly with the amount of kids complaining that there's school today...I can't even. I can't even imagine when this rascals start to have work and there would literally be no such thing as a 'snow day.'
Turbo19 Posted January 22, 2014 Share #8066 Posted January 22, 2014 Honestly with the amount of kids complaining that there's school today...I can't even. I can't even imagine when this rascals start to have work and there would literally be no such thing as a 'snow day.' I suppose in that case it'll be different as earning a wage is somewhat of an incentive, but as in all else in life over time more responsibilities are tacked on, it's less incentive and ultimately the bitching begins again. Now if no one wants to work in less than favorable conditions I'll take my ass down there and outsource them at the first opportunity I get.

(Spoken in old man voice) Gen X version: I had to ride the with transients trying to sell me coke in tagged up subway cars that smelled like piss, and I couldn't even pull out my walkman without someone trying to pull a fast one. Gen Y version: I had to rely on the and it's ancient subway cars suffering without heat in the damn winter and without air in the summer, all the while people were trying to offload LSD and shrooms.
peacemak3r Posted January 22, 2014 Share #8069 Posted January 22, 2014 Damn whippersnappers..... When I was young, I had to WALK to school!! 3 MILES... in 2 FEET OF SNOW... with 2 KNAPSACKS!! (Spoken in old man voice) Seriously though! When I was in elementary school and junior high school, I didn't get a snow day unless it's 10+ inches AND still snowing. High school we had the benefit of 6+ inches AND snowing. It's like only 6 inches outside at most right now and it STOPPED snowing. SHEESH. Too much privileged kids these days.
