The R160A-1s were linked into a 5 car set and ran on the N as ten car trains. That is not possible. Those are four-car sets (8313-8316, 8317-8320 and 8321 and 8322 in another four-car set with 8323 and 8324, which I've seen in Eastern Division Service). You probably saw 8713-8722 in August 2007, as those 10 cars were the pilot train of R160s that were run on the . If I recall correctly, they also ran on the in August and September 2006. R32 3348 Posted February 17, 2010 Share #37 Posted February 17, 2010 Only one. That one R160A-2 set was delivered (8653-8662), and then the rest of the R160A-1s were delivered (8313-8652). That was done by around September 2008. Then Alstom delivered the remaining 50 R160A-1s of the base order, which was done by October-November 2008. They then went to deliver the R160As to Jamaica, which entered service on the in December 2008 and on the in March 2009. I believe the only had one set of R160As while the rest were R160Bs. The Siemens propulsion R160Bs first ran around August, anyone please correct me if I have my info wrong.
