553 Bridgeton Posted January 27, 2013 Share #877 Posted January 27, 2013 We use the majority of the nabis on the 552 short runs. Now and then theyll pop up on the cape may 552s. Or even the 553.
mfs NJT459 Posted January 28, 2013 Share #878 Posted January 28, 2013 If they start using NABIs on the 552 and 553, might as well get some suburban NABIs from up north or the rest that are still at Newton Ave
SirJokaPlaya Posted January 29, 2013 Share #879 Posted January 29, 2013 Weird. I have to retype the entire update. I tried to do the QUOTE and it only gives me the *Updated edited part. Help!
mfs NJT459 Posted January 30, 2013 Share #880 Posted January 30, 2013 By the way... there's a number of NABIs at Newton Ave that have full ad wraps of the same ad
MarkD329 Posted January 31, 2013 Share #881 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) By the way... there's a number of NABIs at Newton Ave that have full ad wraps of the same ad There's a couple of 5500s, 5900s, and 6000s with the Horizion Ad. The orange in the ads really brings out the squared-window doors on the 59/6000s. Edited January 31, 2013 by MarkD329
Mkouassi Posted February 2, 2013 Share #882 Posted February 2, 2013 While I was at Journal Square, I saw the blank nova bus 1489 as a A&C bus on the Society Hill line.

MarkD329 Posted February 3, 2013 Share #884 Posted February 3, 2013 Will Newton or Wash. Twp get any of this latest batch? Wash. Twp needs them especially since they are literally beating the shit out of the 5300's, they're lucky to make the schedule on a daily basis.

mfs NJT459 Posted February 4, 2013 Share #887 Posted February 4, 2013 I think some 6300s should go to Newton Ave and send the rest of their 5300s to Washington Twp

Market St and Orange don't need the latest batch of CRAPIs when the southern division needs them as bad as ONE Bus does
MiXxDiDdY Posted February 9, 2013 Share #894 Posted February 9, 2013 Wow my question is why?? Market St and Orange don't need the latest batch of CRAPIs when the southern division needs them as bad as ONE Bus does My thoughts exactly. Hilton & Orange (moreso Hilton) have some of the best-kept Nova Bs in the whole system. Those buses could easily last another 3-5 years. Yet, ONE Bus who are operating on beat up Nova Bs in the 1000s STILL haven't gotten replacements. Another question is, why did most of the ex Red and Tan NABIs go to Newark airport express rather than to ONE bus?! Makes no sense. Was Newark Airport Express even running on NJT Novas?!"

When I worked at Newark Airport Terminal A I've seen Red & Tan AND ONE Bus Nova's being used for that route multiple times, they only have a handful of MCIs (NJT owned, ex Greyhounds and the newer MCIs that they purchased) to use for it.

The RTSs they seem to be using on that now don't seem to be NJT owned, they got Illinois plates like the CUSA owned MCIs and they're numbered like 306xx. I think they came from Academy/NYU or something like that.

go25 Posted February 10, 2013 Share #899 Posted February 10, 2013 Any word on Broadway IBOA getting refurbished Novas or at least a CRAPI?
MarkD329 Posted February 10, 2013 Share #900 Posted February 10, 2013 With a BIKE RACK? WTH? Those 1200s you're talking about have been passed down from Newton Ave, to Egg Harbor, and now to the Jersey City IBOAs. The next stop should be the scrapyard.
