Kendell, your killing the game. -_-

NEXT:

An incident involving a gun in a (D) held in a tunnel between 7 Avenue-53 Street and Rockefeller Center. What do you do?

(D) runs from WTC - Norwood via 8th Av Express, making all local stops north of 145th.

(B) service is suspended.

(E) runs from Jamaica to LES-2nd Av via 6th Av Local.

(M) runs from Middle Village - Coney Island via the (D).

Didn't know if you had this mind when setting this up but you do realize this very scenario happened a while back right??

(4) to bowling green and brooklyn bridge

(3) to rector loop around south ferry

Where will the (1) go???

The switch east of Bedford Park Boulevard - 205 St. is rendered unusable due to a glitch. Now, how would the trains terminate? Note: The switches can't be used in both directions.

The same way the (C) terminates at 168 St. The (B) And (D) terminate at 145 St.

My proposed solution as a South Bronx resident who experienced having to take detours during weekend GO's on these Bronx lines would be this: (D) trains terminate at 161st Street-Yankee Stadium. Trains can relay and utilize switches just past 167th Street for turnarounds, which will be a challenge for the transit workers but nethertheless doable. (D) trains terminating at 161st Street allows for commuters to transfer to the IRT Jerome Ave Line for the (4) which runs parallel to the IND Grand Concourse Line. Problem solved.

A (3) train derailed At Crown Hts Utica Lay-Up. Reroute (3) and (4).

(4) trains terminate at Alantic Ave. (5) trains terminate at Bowling Green allowing for added capacity for the (3) to follow the (2)(5) ROW to Flatbush and terminate at Brooklyn College until the derailment is resolved and full service on the Brooklyn IRT restored. Supplemental bus service from Utica to New Lots may have to be considered depending on the extent of time with the cleanup from the derailment.

Yeah true Quill, (B) service to the Bronx under such circumstances as laid out by NYCRailfan523 is out of the question. Forgot to throw that part of the emergency plan in response to her posted scenerio. But I still think that the (D) really should terminate at 161st to utilize the switches @ 167th Street and allow for the transfer to the (4).

NEXT: Structural problems at 14th Street-8th Avenue (only affecting the 8th Ave Line) and 34th-Penn-8th Ave. This will take 8 yrs to fix, and in that time, no trains can run through the station. Reroute the (A)(C) and (E) lines.

(A) Via (F) Line from 59th St to Jay St (Via 53rd St)

(B) Suspended

(WTC) Shuttle between WTC and Canal St (Interlines with (C), and allows the (C) to turn around)

(C) Euclid Ave-Canal St

(C) 168th-Forest Hills (QBL Local)

(E) Via 6th Ave Express to Brighton Beach (Replacing (B) Service)

(M) Metropolitan Ave-Chambers St

M10 LTD is created.

8yrs? what what?

I'll take a stab at it. What I'd do:

C (assuming it is safe to terminate at 34th penn station) 168th to 34th all times.
A via 6th av, switch at w4th.
E via 6th av, switch at w4th. then split bw WTC and Euclid via fulton local
B replaced by W. W runs (rush hours only) via Brighton express and then via Broadway express, terminates at Astoria-Ditmars av with N. Q terminates at 57th/7th av all times. N via tunnel local all the way in Manhattan.
D normal. north of 145th local all times with rush hour express trains.
F normal.
M switched to Chambers.
G extended back to 71st.

Dunno if it affects the L, but just in case: terminates at 6th av.
