(B): No service between Brooklyn and 34th Street-Herald Square.

(D) / (W): Two sections:

Between 57th Street and Coney Island, signed as a (W) via Montague.

Between 2nd Avenue and 205th Street, Bronx.

Transfer @ 34th Street between (D) (W) train services.

(N), (Q), (R): All trains operate via tunnel at reduced frequencies. Some trains shortturn at Atlantic-Pacific/Prospect Park.

Each line operating through Montague runs at 7 TPH in Manhattan.

The old "Bridge Fully Closed" scenario. I would also beef up Franklin line, and if you're talking about something as long as a bridge replacement, then to take advantage of the provisions for two tracks all the way to Franklin, and the stations extended. At Park Pl. to build on the southbound ROW, you would have to reconfigure the exit, both to the station house, and the ramp to the next street. Perhaps it would come under the platform via stairs. Franklin ave. would get a second overpass over Atlantic, and the platform would extend over it to just south of Atlantic.

So the (Q) could go express, and the (S) would be extended to Coney Island, and more people would be siphoned away from the Montague corridor, with many using available capacity on the IND.

The extensive plans drawn up for this included an (A)(C)(E) swap, so that the Fulton local would be served by a higher frequency, 10 car train line to handle the additional crowds. But now, if the 179's are really being made 8 cars for the (C), it will be hard to raise cars for the extended (E). The (C) would free up cars by being cut back to WTC, but no one could use these cars, and it's not like simply adding a married pair to four other pairs to make 10. Perhaps, full length train sets would be freed up from the reduced Coney Island lines, but I'm not sure how many.

And while we're at it, turn DeKalb Avenue into a full-blown express station... Does the junction west of DeKalb Avenue need any improvements?

Next, a (J) train has derailed because of a very dumb train conductor, this happened south of Cypress Hills at the curve, also a (B) and (Q) train has collided at DeKalb Ave because the (B) train wanted to beat a (N) train to the Manhatten Bridge, REROUTE TRAINS! NO SUPSPENSION OF ANY KIND! (this is in the middle of AM rush hour)

The conductor has nothing to do with the operation of the train except for the doors/announcements, but w/e...

That's impossible these situations, something would have to be suspended somewhere...

(J): No service between Crecent Street and Jamaica Center, free shuttle buses provide service.

All Broadway Line trains run via the tunnel, and all 6th Avenue line trains bypass 4th Avenue. (B) trains run via the (N) line to Kings Highway.

Wat the hell? Ain't possible. Suspending trains mean they go out of service, to their yard, or if stated the nearest one.

I used to also suggest fixing and reopening Myrtle, northbound platform, to drop off passengers for shuttle bus service, and then relaying north of there and wrongrailing back to Pacific (don't know if the track is reverse signaled; probably not). Or, if a permanent closure, to dig out the loop from the bellmouth north of there (which was a one time proposal, and would have also been used for the once planned Rutgers connection).

Next, Grand Central Station is out of service due to a bombing. How do you reroute traffic?

(5) via Broadway-7 Av

(7) No service between QBP and TSQ

Next:

A stupid (C) train conductor trying to beat a (A) train on the southbound tracks accidentally derailed at the Canal Street interlocking, so both southbound tracks of Canal Street are closed. Also, service on the Queens Boulevard line is suspended between 50 Street and Queens Plaza for platform door installation. (And take into account that 57 St- 7 Avenue is still closed.)

Wow, what a joker that dude was......

Anyway, there's switching problems on the Broadway Line at 34th Street. Reroute or spilt service.

Not sure if this works, but

(N) service: Trains run in two sections, between 57th St & Ditmars and Prince St & Coney Island, making all local stops in Brooklyn

(Q) service is suspended; (B) runs local on Brighton

(R) service: Trains run in two sections, between 57th & Forest Hills, and Canal St & Bay Ridge.

Extra (B) , (D) and (M) service will be provided during this time.
