Here goes with a new one:

A drunken person trying to get across the tracks at Kingstron-Throop on the (A) gets slammed into by a northbound express train and causes a massive derailment, knocking out all the tracks in the area that will take 10-12 days to fully repair.

Same time, There are a number of broken rails in the northbound Rutgers tunnel, forcing that to close for several days to repair.

On top of that, there are switch issues north of the WTC (E) station, affecting those tracks (but not the (A)(C) tracks between Canal and Chambers.

Also a power issue shutting down 155th Street on the (B) (D).

Reroute!

(A) : 207 - Hoyt / Utica - Rockaways or Lefferts

(C) : 168 - Chambers / Utica - Euclid

(E) : via (F) to 2nd Av

(F) : northbound via Cranberry

(B) : BB - 145 ( some (B) run to 168 )

(D) : 205 - 161 / 145 - CI

1. What are bridgeplates & how would you terminate at Hoyt

2. how would you get to the upper level

3. No switches at E Bway

4. The G would run on the QBL Platform ?

  1. Bridgeplates are where there are extensions of the platform to the express tracks, they would only be in use on the SB side - The (A) would terminate at Hoyt by going to the express tracks at Laffayette, then using the switch east of Laffayette to turn. NB trains would skip Laffayette
  2. (B)(C) trains would terminate there, then run express on the Downtown track to 125, and start their run there (no NB local trains 72-125)
  3. You can turn south of Delancey-Essex
  4. Yes, it would terminate at the (E)(M) platform

For (2) - you can't turn at Wall. Do you mean Clark?

For (4) - Why not Boro Hall?
