alejr88 Posted June 9, 2012 Share #101 Posted June 9, 2012 I am an IRT station. I run over a different line that is not the subway. I am also an express station. I am not too far from a highway, probably a stop away. Who am I?

alejr88 Posted June 9, 2012 Share #104 Posted June 9, 2012 Pelham Parkway Incorrect. Woodside-61 St ? (if so, I pass.) Right you are. On 61 Street and the trains run over the LIRR and the next stop after 61 Street is 69 Street, near the BQE.

That is former and ( Q ) terminal for 21 St. But yeah the answer is probably 2 Av, I was thinking former terminal and during GOs.
BMT West End EXP Posted June 13, 2012 Share #109 Posted June 13, 2012 Here’s one: While I only have an average amount of ridership, I’m home to one of the few transfers in the system between an open cut line and an elevated line. Recently, my transfer was closed for renovation. I'm guessing... Court Square-23 Street ?
Guest MTA Bus Posted June 13, 2012 Share #110 Posted June 13, 2012 The answer is ........ 21st St - Queensbridge. During Fastrack, the terminates here.
alejr88 Posted June 14, 2012 Share #111 Posted June 14, 2012 I'm guessing... Court Square-23 Street ? The answer was 62nd-New Utrecht Avenue station. Court Square-23 Street is not open cut, it is an underground station. Opencut lines are technically underground too but with exposure to the weather. Examples: IRT Dyre Avenue Line , BMT Sea Beach Line and the BMT Brighton Line north of Kings Highway to Prospect Park I think. My guess is that you probably didn't see the answer so there. From up to down Van Siclen Van Siclen the station that was in your question. Van Siclen This station has these features 1, A different line runs next to the station. 2, One of the stations platform is big enough to platform an 8 car M7. 3, This station is one of the local stations where trains enter 35mph or 40mph. ladyjay114 Posted July 17, 2012 Share #119 Posted July 17, 2012 From up to down Van Siclen Van Siclen the station that was in your question. Van Siclen Actually your answer is correct, but the question was worded wrong. Sorry about that! Here's what I should've asked: I'm a station that was named Van Siclen, but I'm nowhere near Van Siclen. What is my name now and why did I originally have the former name.
