East New York 4,104 Posted July 9, 2008 Share #7 Posted July 9, 2008 Dammit, I need to go out and run into that bus by "accident". Nice shots! Just go to CAS weekdays around noon and you should see it pulling in.

aemoreira81 980 Posted July 9, 2008 Author Share #9 Posted July 9, 2008 Nice shots! Just go to CAS weekdays around noon and you should see it pulling in. But does it pull into CAS off peak, or does it pull into Quill (which handles most midday storage for NYCTA Staten Island and Brooklyn Division express buses)? UlmerPark B6 0 Posted July 10, 2008 Share #13 Posted July 10, 2008 why do they have numbers 9387 and 0052 on the bus?
Pablo M 201 35 Posted July 10, 2008 Share #14 Posted July 10, 2008 why do they have numbers 9387 and 0052 on the bus? 0052 is for the MTA to identify it. Thats how they number their demo buses now anyway. 9387 is a number Prevost put on for them to identify it.

You know that is a good question. It was coming in to CAS at about noon fresh off the x10 when we saw it.

MattTrain 3,120 Posted July 19, 2008 Share #20 Posted July 19, 2008 Those buses are huge and they look very wide, I bet they're very comfortable inside when you ride them.
'89 Liberty MCI 2 Posted July 19, 2008 Share #21 Posted July 19, 2008 That bus made a cameo in my neck of the woods 2 days ago. It was another bus operator that reported it to me actually (as 9387), I think he said it was on 230th Street so it could've been testing out of Yonkers also. Broke down yesterday so it ain't coming out today nor tomorrow. We'll see come during the week if the bus goes out.
