  1. Probably they are gonna put in Trains from Coney Island Yard and/or Piktin Yard and put in these trains from Grand Street and then go to Harlem and continue running round trips the full route.
  2. Scenario: A train is stuck on the Manhattan Bridge Bypass tracks and the Montague street tracks are frozen to only connect to the . Reroute all trains, and please be realistic. Do not shorten car length or extend them. Please reroute now
  3. Never mind, the Airport is past Lakewood, in Fort Dix.
  4. [it's good! NICE job. You dont mind if I use it as my signature, dont you?
  5. Well they will have direct access to that airport along the 317 route
  6. Well the 317 riders would hop on the 830, since from Asbury Park to Pleasent Beach, the 317 and 830 make the stops for most of the route. 317 riders using the bus from Lakewood to Asbury Park can use the new 830.
  7. I sent a letter just now regarding a proposal of an n22a Extention rush hours to Hicksville and n24 buses fully limited from Mineola to Hicksville Rush Hours on the Hicksville Branch. This n22a would run on OCR. Comments?

I think one guy posted just once when I made some off the cuff slam on San Francisco some months ago. I 'apologized', but the guy never posted again. totally wtf.

  9. I would make the , a route from Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and going via Broadway Express to 95 street and via 4 Avenue Local
  10. Well What if the 830 is extended to Lakewood all trips. The 830 trips would be modified to meet with the 317 arrivals and depatures from it's new terminal at Lakewood, besides, I would twirk the buse schedule since a 317 leaves Pleasent Beach to Philly at :11, while a 830 arrives Pleasent Beach at :30, so an 830 to Lakewood I would make it arrive at around :20, so the 830 buses would be twirked to pass 10 minutes earlier from Asbury Park to Pleasent Beach. Then the 830 would leave at :20. Then, at Lakewood, the 317 would leave later then it currently does. It would leave at the hour instead of :45 to To Philly to insure all connecting pax would be on the 317 to Philly. On the reverse way, to Asbury Park, the 317 arrives at Lakewood at :07. The 830 would wait 10 minutes, then operate to Asbury Park. The 830 would arrive Point Pleasent Beach at :56 instead of :40, and would continue to operate 16 MINUTES LATER than it's actual schedule. Sunday service would be established on the 830 between Lakewood and Point Pleasent Beach, which would cost a bit more because of the 317 routing between Point Pleasent Beach and Asbury Park. The 830 would operate from Asbury Park at :40, and get to Lakewood at :50 the next hour. The 317 would be twirked to operate to Phily from Lakewood at :00 INSTEAD of :45 The 317 would terminate at Lakewood The 830 plan would be cost-neutral overall Weekday and Saturday Service would be cost-neutral while Sunday Service would be cost-operative because of the added 830 service
  11. No, they would still orginate from Page Avenue, but that will be the time they arrive at the Park and Ride
  12. As long as this won't cause a huge inconvenience to the riders
  13. I have a proposal: M1: Fully local route Reason The rush hour M1 buses dont get full a lot. The only section where it gets actual ridership is between 34-72 streets, and after that it's pretty low ridership those M1 limited runs, so why not change the pattern and make the M1 limited trips the M2 Limited trips. Also the M1 Limited trips are corridinate to pass right behind an M2, so why not making those runs part of the M2 M2: Will be a limited bus rush hours only like the current M1 pattern, except only certain trips. Reason: Some people will scream at me and say why the hell would I truncate the M2 as a rush hour only limited. The M2 does do well on limited stop service, but to see the reason why, Look below M3: Will be the new 5th Avenue limited stop bus during the week Reason: The M3 is the longest after the M5 of all the 5th Avenue routes. However, the M2 has limited stop service meanwhile its shorter than the M3. Most people taking the M2 limited really get on from the limited stops, not from the ACPJB portion. So this will at least speed up the bus service in a way M4: Make it a fully limited stop weekday bus pattern from 157 street and down Reason: The 5th Avenue routes get packed all lot on weekdays, and because it will help out my proposd M3, the M4 will be a limited stop all day weekdays from Penn Station to 157 street Broadway. Every other M4 bus would be limited middays M5: Discontinue Midday and add Weekend Limited Stop Service The M5 midday limited stop service would be used for the M4 limited stop service. Weekend Serice would be added from the money saved from the M20 elimination. Every other weekend bus would be a limited stop bus. M7: Extention of the M7 to South Ferry The M7 would use the M20 route south of 14 street northbound on 8th Avenue, and would replace the entire M20 route southbound. M8: Add weekend service ADD 30 minute weekend service so people actually have a crosstown route available on 8th Street in that area M9: Retain Reason: Because I said so. M10: Extention The M10 would be extended to Abingdon Square via 9TH Avenue instead of 7th Avenue south of 57th Street so it can help out the M11 a bit with it;s inconsistentcy southbound only. M10 buses would use 8th Avenue north of 14 M20 Discontiunation It has the M10 and M7 as alternatives. The M7 would continue to have the 1 sest ride from Columbus Circle to SF. Northbound you would have tom transfer to the M10. You dont like the number 7 or 10 as a bus number, then take the train.
  14. A bus lane could work. Maybe make buses run in the middle of the road and have "platform" at each bus stop
  15. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?authuser=0&vps=9&hl=en&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&msa=19&msid=204750700533050976010.0004c0e6e61c74d738c94 Notice: Q42 Extended to Queens Village LIRR via Murdock Avenue Limited/Springfield Blvd Limited rush hours only, other times, local to Springfield Blvd Q83 Service to QV LIRR station now rerouted over Q42 route as well as all trips terminating at Springfield Blvd only, Limited stop service now Q42 rush hours
  16. X22A: 8 Trips in each directions, departing from Outerbridge Park and Ride Departs at 5:51 AM, 6:30 AM, 7:15 AM , 7:40AM, 8:15AM, 8:45 AM, 9:15 AM, 9:40 AM Arrives At 4:40 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:25 PM, 5:45 PM, 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM,7:00 PM, 7:45 PM
  17. I would terminate it at 73 and Springfield while the 64 terminated as well there. Q88s dump out at Springfield, so it's better to not have excess service
  18. The n27 can be extended to RF weekends via Willis Avenue, since it would be cost neutral as frm pre MTA days. Maybe run one every 2 hours on Willis
