  1. 4117 and 4646 are retired. The other two are only oos. Side note, 4037 is retired. Also, there are 17 OGs left at JFK: 3668, 3675, 3677, 3695, 3698, 3700, 3708, 3713, 3743, 3748, 3751-3752, 3754, 3756, 3762-3763, 3782.
  2. Pretty sure CP can do that in-house. People seem to forget they have their own fleet of DIESEL coaches that they refuel there. Anyone can feel free to correct this.
  3. They got others to take their place and the retired ones are useful to salvage parts for the active units.
  4. Some West Farms units stick around for a month or two. Its happened often with other units from that depot so I wouldn’t go labeling this a transfer yet.
  5. Have those been towed out or are still sitting at the depot?
  6. Novas delivered so far: BP: 8964-8966, 8970, 8972, 8975, 8977-8979, 8983, 8985, 8987-9005, 9007-9009 (33*) FR/JK: 9010, 9012-9014, 9017, 9019-9020, 9022, 9024-9025, 9028-9031, 9033-9046, 9048-9049, 9051, 9053, 9060-9061, 9063-9064, 9067, 9070, 9074, 9080 (40) *Asterisk as it was reported that 9006 was delivered but it has yet to be spotted.
  7. It was only a loan. Bus was sent back to Far Rock yesterday.
  8. Let's hope they don't. MetLife is hosting eight games in 2026 and will most likely be almost at capacity depending on who plays. There have been so many instances where NJT and/or Metlife have screwed over people trying to leave the stadium. WrestleMania in 2019 comes to mind where passengers had to wait hours before a train showed up after the show ran long.
  9. Well whatever's the case, I would of been ok with the proposal of bringing a new railcar had they planned any changes as soon as the world cup was awarded. The final wasn't even awarded until Sunday. I think bringing in new equipment from a buildier that NJT is not familiar with is a bad idea if an early 2026 deadline is put as things can go south during the tournament. If its for future-proofing after the world cup, then maybe.
  10. Nah, its too late to invest in a railcar that is so unfamiliar to NJ Transit and with less than two years to order and prep workers for it. Not to mention, MetLife is only hosting 8 games: June 13, 16, 22, 25, 27, 30th and July 5th & 18th (Final). A system like that would be pretty useless after that as the tournament is only 39 days long.
  11. This is more akin to the long-term loans Tuskegee Airmen have from other Bronx and Manhattan depots.
  12. Bus has been there since last year. I made mention of that on Friday.
  13. So FIFA announced that the World Cup final in 2026 will be held at MetLife stadium. It'll be interesting what will or won't be done about the transit options to the stadium in two years.
  14. The surge in posts where people report seeing the bus without the omny readers are irking me a bit. I'd wait until the bus is towed out of the depot before reporting, but that's just me.
  15. Those are loans, Like Quill and Tuskegee, Hale tends to get loans from The Bronx almost every day.
  16. 3677 just ran a few hours ago. Speaking of which, are all those reported buses actually retired? Just curious to know from those that have seen the omny readers removed.
  17. The and the city really need to do something about the homeless and drug addicts hanging out on the edges of stations on the line. 181st is pretty bad with some making it their own personal bathroom and the needles that keep piling up on the tracks. I feel for the train operators that manage to get a sniff of the station ends.
  18. Not sure what you're trying to get at here when the guy was only asking if those two units were still in service or not.
  19. I wasn’t referring to those specific units. I was making a general response to why any OG hybrid should be preserved.
  20. For the museum as the first new local buses they bought when the took over the private bus operations nearly 20 years ago.
  21. You know there is the option to EDIT the post instead of cluttering the page with "corrections"
  22. The bus is on the Q31 so it must of covered for a Q30 run when heading to Jamaica or it was a BusTime error.
