  1. I do not trust the information put out by trip Planner. The two times I've used it, whoever programmed the G.O's did it incorrectly and all the times that were listed weren't syncing with the actual schedule. As a result, i got a writeup for getting to work late. Never used it again after that.
  2. That's because the R160's don't have that "glitch" - yet. The R179's, even though they have the next stop glitch, don't have the station announcement glitch. This is evidenced by when the R179's were burn in testing on the line and they were signed up as the to Euclid, which used the 's station announcements for all of Fulton St. The R211's do have this glitch, which is why Rector St from the was used on the , since it is the first recording in the list. Once that train reaches Queensboro, it will default back to the 's regular announcement since there's no other variation.
  3. Speaking of Prevosts, is is true MTA exercised the remaining 25 bus option order from Prevost to take over the x22/x23?
  4. Actually, I was thinking of running the between Forest Hills & Coney Island during the weekend, that way it can boost ridership.
  5. Anyone else think that extending the to Coney Island during summer weekends is worth it?
  6. And what is Manhattan suppose to be? Cause right now its a mix of everything.
  7. An update to my comment in the R211 thread: seems to be in the process of removing un-needed variations of station announcements on the whole NTT fleet. So far, the R142/R142A's and R211's have these new upgraded programs.
  8. So according to the new videos on YouTube, any line that has stations announced by whoever does the , is now the set default for those station announcements. For example, that means the in it's entirety is no longer announced by Catherine, with the exception for the destination announcements.
  9. How come when some buses get into accidents, they are repaired rather quick and sent back into service, while others stay on "hold" at Eastchester for 3-4 years?
  10. Ever since NJ Transit abandoned the original Boonton Line, there's also no direct bus replacement from Bay St, Arlington, or Rowe St to Hoboken or Midtown.
  11. Update #2; Just got another reply back from the exam unit who told me the exam hasn't begun testing yet. So which is it, did it begin or did it not? This is confusing for absolutely no reason. One person in the exam unit says they did, the other says they didn't. Complaining aside, has anyone here ever been a B/O and go to school at the same time?
  12. Oh wait, I just took a look at the track map, there's no switches at Hoyt St between Crosstown & Fulton? Serious design flaw.
  13. Look at 0:33. Maybe its the angle of the camera but it appears the right headlight is dim.
  14. One of the headlights is broken already. Wow.
  15. You close them. 148th stays as a yard. The between 180th St & Dyre would also be abandoned since they have the lowest ridership in the system.
  16. Are 11-15 retired? Whoever just updated CPTDB says they are.
  17. EDIT: Nvm, I see that some units were loaned to MTA Bus in July 2020 and the tracker associated with them lists them as out of service.
  18. Thanks, one more R179 this time both interior & exterior. TO FAR ROCKAWAY VIA FULTON ST LCL THE NEXT STOP IS ACQEDUCT RACETRACK 1:21 PM Exterior: FAR ROCKAWAY MOTT AV QUEENS BLVD LCL 63 ST/6 AV LCL via FULTON ST
  19. Oh I saw you made the font thought it was ready. Let me get it in R179 specs then.
  20. They couldn't tow them as one complete set?
