mark1447 Posted September 13, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 13, 2009 Dunno if anyone seen this, but found this on youtube its from Aug 28, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h0N18X8Yz4 Sry hard to understand video a bit... rly needs to slap the rules to many(or ALL) t/a workers who dunno about photography. BESIDES NYPD! Im glade many workers know about the rules.. Of course, restrictions do apply.. Some workers know the rules, but "pretend" that that 1050.9C doesnt exist. Same for NYPD personnel... Not saying workers here, im talking about other workers... PS. looks like some are from NYCTF, ive seen one or two of em! No names tho!
INDman Posted September 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2009 The cab of a train IS considered a restricted area. The TA worker is right on this one.

Paul P Posted September 13, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 13, 2009 Yes, I do recognize some people from here (all of you know who you are). But what was the guy really telling them? I don't understand...
Y2Julio Posted September 13, 2009 Share #6 Posted September 13, 2009 Yes, I do recognize some people from here (all of you know who you are). But what was the guy really telling them? I don't understand... He's telling them, if he finds them in a cab taking pictures again, he will call the police.
SevenEleven Posted September 13, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 13, 2009 I don't see nothing wrong in this case. If you're know you're supposed to stay out of a cab that isn't open to the public, then stay the hell out. It's simple.

RTOMan Posted September 13, 2009 Share #16 Posted September 13, 2009 Take a look at this Document http://www.lirrhistory.com/photog.pdf Im aware of the MTA stand on this... That dont mean you can go in an unaccouupied cab and start snapping away. Customers arent allowed in them.
Y2Julio Posted September 13, 2009 Share #17 Posted September 13, 2009 Take a look at this Document http://www.lirrhistory.com/photog.pdf Once again, the issue isn't that they were taking photos, the issue is that they were in the cab taking pictures. That isn't protected by the MTA photography rules since they were in a restricted area.
RTOMan Posted September 13, 2009 Share #18 Posted September 13, 2009 I still dont get it.. The title says one thing... While these people was doing something wrong, like being in a cab they arent supposed to be. Get it now?

metsfan Posted September 13, 2009 Share #25 Posted September 13, 2009 Cabs and any operational areas are for employees, not railfans. If you want to photo a cab do it from the platform in the side window, or go to the transit museum. - A
