NX Express Posted April 24, 2010 Share #26 Posted April 24, 2010 IDK what's wrong, but I don't see anything. Can you please post the link to the image?
Art Vandelay Posted April 24, 2010 Share #27 Posted April 24, 2010 As someone mentioned earlier, it is very "berlinesque". Either way, I think it would mark an improvement over the current NTT trains. The current LED exterior signs are awful. They need replacement. Unless you want the doors to obstruct the side windows while open(like they do in Paris), you would need to shorten the side windows. Not that the paris system doesnt work. Jamaica Express Posted April 24, 2010 Share #29 Posted April 24, 2010 One thing I like a lot is the large R-110 type front that shows the route in its proper color, how its shown on the map. I Hate those small red letters and numbers. The only lines that should be displaying those are the .

LRG Posted April 25, 2010 Share #34 Posted April 25, 2010 The slant is always (I mean also) very awesome, R-200 slant, bringing back the R-40 Slants with a modern R-160 feel, ! 160+40=200!
Donald Posted April 25, 2010 Share #35 Posted April 25, 2010 It's a nice train, but there is to much glass on the doors. Those doors are gong to be a magnet for every scratch artist in NYC. Also, if the car is 75 feet long, you might want to add a 5th door.
hoodciti Posted April 25, 2010 Share #36 Posted April 25, 2010 This R-200 is excellent and a very realistic idea. I see the similarities to the Berlin h-type rail cars doors which I've always thought were possibly the sexiest subways cars outside of new york. QDover Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share #40 Posted April 25, 2010 It's a nice train, but there is to much glass on the doors. Those doors are gong to be a magnet for every scratch artist in NYC. Also, if the car is 75 feet long, you might want to add a 5th door. Its a 60 foot car because I like 5 car sets, and I also made a 75 foot car but it does'nt have a 5th door, I think I would add one. And the windows will hopefully have the scartch resistant covers that are being used today on subway cars.
Donald Posted April 25, 2010 Share #41 Posted April 25, 2010 The scratch resistant covers don't seem to be effective. They can be taken off since I am seeing plenty of R160s with scratched windows recently.

T to Dyre Avenue Posted April 27, 2010 Share #44 Posted April 27, 2010 Nice job. It does look like the trains you see in Berlin. It's what our subway cars should look like. I'm curious to see what the interior would look like.

I'm curious to see what the interior would look like. I just started working on the seating arrangement, once I finish that I would try my best to make a realistic inside look, I will post everything up at once again so look out for it.
