Now the question is when will the SBS scheme be phased out since at this point it doesn't really matter if all buses are gonna be sent to depots like this.

MTA Bus Company and New York City Transit will run extra buses to and from schools in all five boroughs beginning September 8, 2022, to accommodate students. These buses will run on weekdays during the school year.

They are, but I believe those 3 and 6246 are at LGA just for the labor day weekend bc 5987-5990 went back to CS before the past Sunday.
