They gave castleton 2135 which is always OS, for another OS Queen. Love that one! Kinda funny!

 

Oh so thats where 2135 went? i was at the depot yesterday i was standing outside and i walked to see what was on the O/s line & i saw 2889 im like huh we never had that bus ..... So it came in yesterday morning . If you didnt hear the story here it is " Last week a driver had a lfs on the B36 and it was too crowded and the bus wouldnt move so he told the passengers that so they someone broke the gps box open & punched a hole through the roof of the bus ( i dont know how they managed to do that ) but yea . Alot of ulmer parks rts are o/s now because of transmission problems , due to over heating because they are so used to the heat during winter time and they arent used to the cold air for summer so they over heat & break down and plus they are old so yea .

Since you work at Ulmer Park, can you get pics of that LFS

4197 (an Orion NG) is on the Q46 today- I just rode it in service about 10 minutes ago.

It still has another depot's sticker on it, but I could not see which it was. Not sure if this is a permanent switch or just good luck, but I do like seeing something new(-ish) on the Q46.

QVs RTS arent crappy, They've just started crapping out due to the weather

They are some of the most maintained and reliable buses in the system.

According to that rumor, QV is impatient about their LFS and they are not maintaining their old RTS. They are doing that to convince NovaBUS to work faster on the LFS.

I agree with dmouse. QVs RTS are in very decent shape. Send them 96s over this way please thanks.

 

Their crapping out. CS is doing a good job with them so leave them there. Their AC is doing fine.

QV is doing good with some RTS and CS is doing good with some 05s. Leave everything the way it is now.

So can I have a roster of loaners with the depots?

I will take one crappy RTS from crappy Queens Village over one of the roller coaster 600s of a bus.

 

Their crapping out. CS is doing a good job with them so leave them there. Their AC is doing fine.

QV is doing good with some RTS and CS is doing good with some 05s. Leave everything the way it is now.

So can I have a roster of loaners with the depots?

 

Yeah, excellent Casey Stengel is the first depot to burn a hybrid. Also, a Orion 5 too.

Not the first depot to burn an Orion V, there have been incidents in S.I, The Bronx, and of course, very recently, LGA.
