Not exactly. Quoted directly from New Flyer:

Futhermore, the new release goes on to say...

You can read it directly below in the link provided. The only reason I'm not quoting the entire thing is because I didn't provide the link.

In which I said above. Before any options were exercised, we had up to bus 643. 185- 569 off the NYCT order with 90 remaining options, then 570-643 from the (MTA) Bus order with the 30 options. 14+15 options exercised from their respective orders leaving 76/15 (91 total). 29 buses after 643 is 644-672.

185-319 [135 Primary | 340 Options]

320-569 [250 Options | 90 Remain]

570-643 [74 Primary | 30 Options 120 Collective]

644-658 [15 Options | 15 (MTA) Bus Remain 105 Collective]

659-672 [14 Options | 76 (MTA) NYCT Remain 91 Collective]

The last C40LF is supposed to be # 701.

Ok.. What lesson is West Farms Depot is learning the next purchase of C40LF new flyer will go up to #701... They will not receive more new batch of C40LF new flyer.. it will be only for Jackie Gleason Depot again they will receive new batch again. Come on.

THE PRESS RELEASE THAT JUST CAME OUT ABOUT THE 29 OPTIONAL BUSES IS LATE, SUPER LATE! THATS ALL! WE WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER C40LF ABOVE 672 UNLESS ANOTHER OPTION IS TAKEN.

That is all...

I'll except that. The only thing that was slightly misleading was the delivery date.

Is C40LF model 2000 new flyer #800 - #989 19 remaining going to be retire. Or will sent to MTA Bus to spring creek depot make sense to retire all 12 1999 Orion5 CNG remaining..

There's enough C40s coming in to replace all the old ones and the Orion Vs

...come to think of it, how come those 6 up in the Farms weren't retired already?

Probably because so many Orion CNGs at WF are OOS getting overhauled.

I assume the first two were a success so I guess they working on it now...i could be wrong, dont quote me on this

I don't think they were, otherwise we would of seen more buses repowered during their 8-9 year Overhaul. As far as I know, they'll keep the DD50G EGR engines...for now.

#1. You had to quote him, didn't you?

#2. FOR NOW.... The engines may stay as is until their retirement date..... like the others.
