Because the West End Line is hit by something and goes flying up in the air , then lands in the waters of The Rockaways, there is flooding in the Rockaways and the West End Tracks (elevated) is also taken. Somehow, Coney Island suffered sever damage and a the glass fell throughout the tracks 1-6 and the platform. Tracks 7-8 was sent up in the air. An R68 later falls onto the Astoria EL between 30 Avenue and Broadway. The Marine Parkway Bridge is destroyed.

SHUT YO DAMN A**ES UP AND DO THE DAMN SCENARIO GOD DAMN YOU PEOPLE.

(A) Lefferts Blvd/Broad Channel to 207 St

(D) 36 St to 205 St

(F) Avenue X to 179 St

(N) 95 St to Queensboro Plaza

(Q) Brighton Beach to 57 St

( S ) No Service

SEE? IT WASN'T HARD AT ALL. JUST GO TO THE DAMN TRACK MAPS AND TAKE SOME TIME INSTEAD OF BSIN ABOUT IT.

I'm guessing the whole west end line, which would affect the sea beach at new Utrecht, The Rockaways below Broad Channel, Coney Island, and the astoria el btwn 30 and broadway.

Oh and thank-you VWM for this. I would have probably not solved it if I hadn't seen this.

IF THIS THREAD IS LOCKED, I WANT EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS TO KNOW THAT IT WAS LOCKED BECAUSE OF ALL THE HATING ON THE SCENARIOS.

LOOK!

You are acting like an insolent little diva. Sit down and let me tell you something. And don't try and give me some smart reply, chief.

That scenario was about an apocalyptic event. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. It's not even foam, it's just plain insanity. Second of all, do not speak to me or anyone like how you just did. It is rude, arrogant and just being a jerk. Finally, I am REQUESTING a mod to lock this thread NOW! It's gone far enough. The immaturity, the foam, and the rudeness isn't what this forum is about.

One last scenario anyone? Due to new switches being installed the following areas are impassible:

(A)(C)(E) 14th St - Lafayette St

(B)(D) 14th St - Grand St

(F) 14th St - Bergen St

(M) 14th St - Bway-Lafayette

(N)(Q) Canal St - Atlantic-Pacific

(G) Bergen - Fulton

In addition due to work being done on 7th Ave station, the (2)(3) are impassable at 7th Ave (B)(Q) is fine

Also, due to the extension of the (A) no (A) trains can terminate at 207th St.

A (7) TRAIN IS stuck between the switch From Local to Express Track between 33 and Queensboro Plaza

(7) Terminates at Woodside-61 Street.

(Q) Extended to Ditmars Bl.

(S) Operates all times.

(N), (Q), (S) and Q32 buses provide extra/alternative service.

Finally, something simple...

EDIT:

Oh, and here's something thats REALISTIC.

Due to weekend track work, no trains can pass through 36 Street (D)(N)(R).

Yelling at each other to be more mature doesn't make you seem more mature.

Oh, and here's something thats REALISTIC.

Due to weekend track work, no trains can pass through 36 Street (D)(N)(R).

I'll avoid rerouting via the (F)(Q) as that won't happen for weekend track work.

SO:

(D) No trains between Pacific St and Coney Island.

(F) Trains run through Coney Island to 9 Av (D).

(N) No trains between Whitehall St and Coney Island.

(Q) Trains run through Coney Island to 8 Av (N).

(R) No trains between Pacific St and 95 St,

NEXT

Sticking to the realism motif:

A switch malfunctions at West 4 St. As a result, no uptown local trains can travel pass the 8 Av level of West 4 St.

(A) Retain

(B) Rush Hours Only

(C) Via 6 Avenue

(D) Retain

(E) Operate via 6avenue from Jamaica Center-2 Avenue.

(F) Off Peak Express with (D)

(M) Rush hours and 1:00 trip only past Myrtle

Next: A (A) TRAIN Derails into the waters of Broad Channel. Police are investigating the matter, and service between Howard Beach- Broad Channel is suspended. Reroute the services

Okay then:

(C) runs express Canal Street-34th Street, then local

(E) runs express to 34th Street-Penn Station and terminates there (quick turnarounds to minimize delays with (A))

All other service is normal.

Good. No foam from you, this is progress.

NEXT:

A switch malfunction at in the Montague Street tunnel causes all switches to be set in favor of Nassau Street. No southbound (R) trains can head into the tunnel, and no northbound (R) trains can reach Broadway. Reroute wisely, and good luck.

NEXT:

A switch malfunction at in the Montague Street tunnel causes all switches to be set in favor of Nassau Street. No southbound (R) trains can head into the tunnel, and no northbound (R) trains can reach Broadway. Reroute wisely, and good luck.

(R) trains run via the bridge. The (N)(Q)(R) can definitely fit on one track, and then looking at the track map, in Brooklyn the (N) will leave to go to the super express through DeKalb, and the (B) will join, so the (B)(Q)(R) will all stop at one platform, which can work. Then the (B)(Q) will diverge to Brighton and the (R) will go down the local.

For service to Lower Manhattan, transfer at Union Square for a (4)(5) or at Canal Street for a (6) to Brooklyn Bridge where you can find a (4)(5). From Brooklyn, transfer at Atlantic Avenue for a (4)(5).

This is an easy solution that, although it does cause a bit of inconvenience for Downtown riders, it causes no confusion to riders, just the usual irritation whenever a line is rerouted. See, absolutely no reason to have a (Z) train in Bay Ridge because then those riders would need to transfer later anyways.

----

NEXT

Due to a smoke condition, the Eastern Parkway (2)(3) station is impassible. The 4/5/B/Q are unaffected.

(2): South Ferry or Bowling Green-Bronx via Local.

(3): 14th Street-148th Street via Express.

(5): Some trains run via 7th Avenue to replace (2) and (3) service.

NEXT:

A switch malfunction at 9th Avenue forces all trains to go to the lower level. As a result, any train going southbound on that route must terminate there.

Downtown (D) via the (N) to Coney Island

Here's a what if: What if you guys start acting like young adults and not kids in the damn sandbox? If you don't like some of the responses for these "service changes" or the service problems themselves, say so respectfully or do not post anything at all. This is your final warning. Any more arguments like the ones seen on previous pages will result in a thread lock.
