Shortline Bus Posted July 6, 2011 Share #1001 Posted July 6, 2011 Ummm.... Why are they showing disney clips? B) Anyway, this is my 300th post, and the 1000th in this thread! Say congrats to me in a PM! Congrats Subway. Anyhow before MTV back in the '70's and late '60's, music videos as we know them now did not exist. Back then the handful of videos available was usually taped cheesy promo videos of new songs played on then hit music shows like 'American Bandstand' 'Soul Train' and in the UK "Top of the Pops." Instead of an album cover, i guess that poster on youtube was creative and showed the Disney clips instead LOL.

Shortline Bus Posted July 7, 2011 Share #1004 Posted July 7, 2011 Jimmy7 i know you only 13-14 years old. Do you like 'older music' i.e songs that came out before the year 2000. Must be getting old that other than Katy Perry and Lady Gaga LMAO I don't know much about today's current music.
Shortline Bus Posted July 7, 2011 Share #1005 Posted July 7, 2011 Oh yes. A great summer song to listen to crusing on the highway. One of the biggest hits so far of his carrer. Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" a remake of the classic rock staple "Sweet Home Alabama".

Shortline Bus Posted July 7, 2011 Share #1007 Posted July 7, 2011 An old school classic. One of the first major 'hit hip-hop' slow jams. Played all over the place in summer 1987. Here a then 'kid' named James Todd Smith known to the world as LL Cool J with one of his early 'joints.'

Shortline Bus Posted July 11, 2011 Share #1020 Posted July 11, 2011 Under Pressure -Queen/Bowie Good choice:tup:. About a decade later (after the Bowie/Queen song was released)Vanilla Ice released "Ice Ice Baby.' The fool Vanilla Ice tried to deny he sampled 'under pressure' and yet had to settle out of court when Bowie/members of Queen sued. FYi. Freedie Mercury was about to soon die after "Ice" was released. Just for comprasion here 'Ice Ice Baby.'

Via Garibaldi 8 Posted July 12, 2011 Share #1025 Posted July 12, 2011 First heard this when I was living back in Florence from a movie called "Non Ti Muovere" ("Don't Move"). It is as great now as it was then. Vasco Rossi - Un Senso
