Shortline Bus Posted July 13, 2011 Share #1030 Posted July 13, 2011 Oh yes. This was played to death at the nightclubs/sportsbars i went to during the spring/summer of 1995 as a senior in undergrad college . Now a pop/country/southern rock 'classic.' Hootie and the Blowfish "Let Her Cry" "Only Wanna Be You" with an ESPN Sportscenter theme. Back when ESPN was great.

Here the theme to great early 1980's film "officer and a gentlemen' 'up where we belong' by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes.

Shortline Bus Posted July 16, 2011 Share #1037 Posted July 16, 2011 Here a classic from the early '80's. It's "New Edition" featuring the future Mr. Whitney Houston aka Bobby Brown as a 12-13 year young teen. Man they sound so much like the Jacksons LOL. In sense they set the ground for the 'modern' boy bands from new kids to n sync and future ones. Here a rare extended 'album' version. It's ok to dance to this one lol.
Fresh Pond Posted July 16, 2011 Share #1038 Posted July 16, 2011 "Numb" By Evanescence Like this version better than the Linkin Park one...sounds softer ...That and the lead singer's voice (forgot her name) is beautiful

Shortline Bus Posted July 16, 2011 Share #1041 Posted July 16, 2011 Wow. Can't believe it been 10 years since this worldwide hit was first played. This was no doubt the theme to summer holiday season of 2001. Here the infamous 'i got high' the PG-13 version by Afroman. Not meant for young kiddies.

Shortline Bus Posted July 17, 2011 Share #1043 Posted July 17, 2011 (edited) Hey Mon! Here an early 1980's progressive rock/reggae sounding band with one of the decade's (the '80's) great themes. Basically they were a band that sounds alot like the Police. Here is "Down Under' a #1 worldwide pop hit from 1983. Sorry could not find a clean music video so here the next best thing. Enjoy. Shortline Bus Posted July 18, 2011 Share #1049 Posted July 18, 2011 I admit i not into the '90's era 'gangsta rap' but this video is brilliant. This has to rank(in terms of music video i mean)among the best produced videos of the last 15-16 years. The photography and clothing are brilliant almost like a good sci-fi movie. Here "Calif. Love' by 2pac featuring Dr. Dre. "PG-13' for mild cursing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWOsbGP5Ox4
Shortline Bus Posted July 19, 2011 Share #1050 Posted July 19, 2011 In honor of our biggest prince fan on the boards Princelex. here is one of earliest hits in 1981. Personally maybe one of my favorites of the purple man. As a young boy in 1981 it was one of that summer most played songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TLnbxHuF_U&feature=fvst
