Shortline Bus Posted June 6, 2011 Share #878 Posted June 6, 2011 Listening to two versions of an all time smooth jam classic. The first and oringal (still the best IMO) released in 1981 was done by Jazz Legend Grover Washington, Jr. and vocals by Bill Whiters(best know for signing "Lean on Me"). The 2nd version is the remake done almost 20 years later (1998) by Will Smith as a reflection following the ending of his first marriage. Although a few others have also remade the Whiters/Washington classic, Smith's version(the one most of you have heard of) IMO is the best remake to date so far. It's called Don't wanna go home' Jason Derulo a remake of a classic Belfanote song right? Before i hit the sack for bed here a classic from Kenny G. "Songbird'. Great memories of my weekends during high school in late '80's on the NJ shore and one of my first kisses ever from a girl. Night for now and peace out.
