ttcsubwayfan Posted June 10, 2014 Share #5 Posted June 10, 2014 Huh. I never thought we'd get to see any 32s on the ever again. I also didn't think we'd see 68s on Fulton before the arrival of the 179s. Neat find.
Bill from Maspeth Posted June 10, 2014 Share #6 Posted June 10, 2014 R32's are N-O-T going to the B so let's dispel that rumor and wet dream N-O-W. Effective June 9, 2014, one post AM rush hour B train lays up to 207YD and is used for PM service on the A. Afterwards, it returns to CCYD for B service the next morning. Also, the 168 C line lay up also goes to 207YD, picks up 2 cars and it also used for PM service on the A. The reason for this is because while the B and C each require one less train for the PM rush, the A line needs 2 additional trains for the PM rush, so these trains are BORROWED. That R68 is always a lefferts train right?
GojiMet86 Posted June 10, 2014 Share #9 Posted June 10, 2014 There's no R32 to the anywhere. Some guy on FB just automatically assumed that there was going to be an R32 on the . It's only the R68 (or R68A) and the R32 to the during the PM rush.

4P3607 Posted June 10, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted June 10, 2014 I'll be looking for this today. If I do catch it, I'll be in one of the back cars since those cars are typically the emptiest.

SevenEleven Posted June 11, 2014 Share #16 Posted June 11, 2014 So are the extra trains only required because it's summer? No, the new pick calls for 2 extra trains in the PM, so one gets borrowed from the (R32) and the other from Concourse Yard. (R68)
Bill from Maspeth Posted June 11, 2014 Share #17 Posted June 11, 2014 If it's going to be Lefferts or Far Rock that is up to the yardmaster at 207YD based on the schedule of the crew he assigns the train to.
