Ah I was operating that set. It’s CBTC equipped and on the adjacent platform there was 9928-9932/9942-9938 this means more tech on the Astoria line 🙃

- Changes shown are 5-new R211 subway cars: 4060-4064 that has entered the NYC transit system and no EP units being used for refuse service on the B-Division side. All are on the IRT (A-Division).

There is an error on the website link. Under Coney Island and Jamaica Yards, 9853-9942 are supposed to be under Coney Island, yet they’re showing some of those units in that series in Jamaica

Also just looking, the spare factor for the A division is pretty low (particularly the (2)(3)(5) and (6) is terrible at 5 trains apiece on average), while the (4) had a spare factor of 7 trains. Right now it’s not too much of a problem since the R62s are holding up well and the R62A cars that were formally on the (7) got a lot of TLC, but if maintenance starts to slip, then these cars will also undergo the same fate as the R46s

Nice work. I wonder if the new pick will include the 63 St tunnel rehab project, and how that may influence car assignments. As to picks, if there is a long term GO scheduled in the middle of an upcoming pick that requires a schedule overhaul, how is that factored in? Do crews on that line work the previous pick until the service change happens?!
