10 10 car sets will be left at Coney Island by the first day of spring.

That’s what I just said. And I was “corrected” as if I don’t work for transit and know first hand what’s happening.

All three (R) trains to 59th Street this morning are R160s...

no swap I’m guessing

Maybe they’ll pull some of the rush hour R46s that are not needed at Bay Ridge, or the 96 St (R) could have been an R46 too. And were there any R46s on the (F)? Maybe the swap for today will happen there

Tbh, there are no more R46s on the (F)!! But, there are still a few R46s on the (R)!! The swap for all of the R46s will happen from the (R)!!

Sorry that I’ve miscounted the R160B Siemens sets that were left at Coney Island. But, I believe we’re down to 135 Kawasaki R160B (Siemens) and 15 regular Kawasaki R160B sets, which would add up to 150 Kawasaki R160B sets in total!!

The only R160's left are the Siemens propulsion models...

What happened to the regular Kawasaki R160B sets on body numbers #8753-#8757, #8773-#8777 and #8833-#8837? Aren’t those sets still left at Coney Island or were they all transferred to Jamaica Yard in Queens?

The bolded units are at Jamaica, 8773-7 is wrapped. 8833-7 is at CI but CBTC testing.

Anyways, I’ve been sitting at Jackson Heights - Roosevelt Avenue for about 30 minutes waiting for an R46 R to pop up. Hasn’t been any so far.

Funny as you posted this as I'm standing in the station here.

Today is likely the final day for the R46 R, I hope everyone has gotten or gets their shots.

There are two of them back to back. That's just it (99% of the (R) are the usual 160s).

By the March 7 update, it looks like just 32 R-46s are left at Jamaica:  5498, 5506, 5526, 5570, 5574, 5606, 5734, 5802.  This ought to be polished up this week!

My own supposition (very unofficial) would look like just 10 more Siemens R-160 moves to Jamaica in trade:  8888, 8913, 8933, 8938, 8978 and 8988 thru 9008.  Again, perhaps this week?

That would total 396 R-46s at Coney Island and 1200 exactly R-160s at Jamaica.  Let's see!

Question is where those remaining 85 will be until CBTC is completed later?  Hmmm...
