MaBSTOA B/O Exam #9100

I received my congratulations letter and my list number is in the 4100’s. Is that a good list number to have or will it be a while before I am called in?

It all depends on the hiring needs and who shows up and who doesn't show up at 180 Livingston Street.

Not for this exam. The only way you can do this is by calling the HR office (347-643-8229/30/31/32) on a regular basis.

Call 347-643-8230. They answer quicker than the other numbers, at least from my experience. 

As far as our list numbers, they haven’t called anyone yet and most likely won’t for a few years according to what I was told. So, if you guys have not already obtained them, get your drivers license and/or CDL.

Few years? We're only behind 1 exam (7105) and they're almost done with it, probably at the end of this year/early next year they'll start calling off this list.

Got an email from HR stating the license age changes in the NOE, also stating this list was established as of May 2019 and will be good for 4 years.

I got it too. I really need to keep the letters  I get because I forget what each NOE'S are for which exam.

Me too!! And I got two emails, since the initial email was for the part-time MaBSTOA position, which doesn't exist to begin with.

no there is no study guide. just use common sense.

The first e-mail that they sent out on June 27th was incorrect. Just ignore it. Even the Notice of Examination states that this specific exam is for a 40-hour work week and not for part-time.

I just called Livingston to find out when Exam 7105 is going to expire and they said 9/7/22.  So does this mean they are not going to start calling from exam 9100 until that time?

Probably not. Once they went through the list, which includes giving everyone a chance to show up at Livingston Street for employment processing, then they will start calling from this exam.

Hi, congrats! I received my congratulations letter as well, and also an email stating that I should start the process to obtain my cdl. My list # is low 900’s. When I called 180 Livingston, the operator who went on vacation left on her answering service, that they were not having anything available to 2-3 months. All the best.

Just a quick update to everyone who took this exam, I got a pre-employment letter in the mail today finally. Date is scheduled for October 11th and I'm list number 6x.

@dman1455 that was quick. I thought it would have been a few more years until they start calling from this list
