Seems like the microtransit ideas from the redesign will be going through, as it's been signed off and awaiting FTA approval. This is a pretty big indication that the redesign will be happening as is.

(the cost is per million)

Complete waste of time & money. Microtransit won't work for routes like the 12 or 32.

I'm more of a proponent of microtransit being used within denser areas, as opposed to within semi-rural areas... In either case, as I not too long ago said in the SCT redesign thread, microtransit shouldn't be used to supplant public fixed routes (especially those that are under-performing, or otherwise below par)....

Specifically to the 2 routes mentioned, well, as we both know, Bee Line themselves destroyed the #12... As for the #32, I honestly think fixing that route is an easy fix... Get rid of the portion west of Park Hill & have it circulate to/from MNRR Yonkers - something like this..... The #8 is all is needed for the portion of SW Yonkers, west of South Broadway....

I love this idea.

The 32's schedule hasn't changed since 2003, and that's extremely disappointing. For a route that's suppose to be a mix of a commuter/connector bus, the PM span is awful. It also stops running at 6:30 PM, when most of commuters come back from the train station at around 7-9:30 PM when the rush ends.

Hi My Name is Brandon Tate, I don’t want the NABI’s to be replaced any time soon because it’s still reliable and it’s still in best condition although it has the older style interior like the Orion’s has, but the New Flyer’s has the newer style interior, the NABI’s could last until the late 2020’s through early 2030’s, that’s probably the time it’s going to be replaced, I don’t want them to retire at all, find out for me, and respond to me back right away.

Sincerely,
Brandon Tate

The 2030’s is crazy it would be more than 20 years old by then. I would assume that they would die out b/w 2025-27 especially considering that the Orion V’s (besides the 32fters) are retiring or have been b/w 15-17 years.

Being honest once those Nabi’s are gone it will be an end of an era for not just Bee-line’s Nabi’s as a whole, but buses of that interior.

I’m not worried about how early the Nabi’s retire since there going 15yrs (in August). But what will retire them like if it’s another one of of those mother f**king New Flyers you can kiss 💋 Bee-lines diversity bye-bye. What I hope is that it’s something like a Gillig, Proterra, etc.

But then your right those Nabi’s can stay here longer.

Pretty sure the mechanics would be relieved that they don't have to juggle with maintaining buses from different manufacturers.
