Joe Posted March 13, 2009 Share #26 Posted March 13, 2009 I used to eat all this fast food so much, then I read Fast Food Nation. Like a small child running away from a dog, I haven't eaten McDonalds in almost 10 years.
Cait Sith Posted March 13, 2009 Share #27 Posted March 13, 2009 Fast Food : Wendys & White Castle Chicken Joint : Popeyes & KFC Diners : The Olympic Diner @ Delancey & Essex Street, ate there with a friend recently and holy moly, lots of food for such a little price! Resturants : Red Lobster, Applebees, Ruby Tuesday & The Apollo Resturant right off the Willamsburg Bridge. One of the best places in my opinion. RokuSix Posted March 14, 2009 Share #37 Posted March 14, 2009 One of my favorite things to do is go shopping at the mall, and get junky fast food in the food court. I only do it once every few months since it's a bit of a vice of mine. I love Taco Bell for my mall fix. And I agree with Pablo, Joe's Bestburger is the best burger place I have ever been to. I hate that it's in Flushing, but it's right in front of the bus stop to go back home. Applebee's is all right, it's mediocre, and I will punch the guy who takes me on a first date there...but I'll eat there. I absolutely LOVE eating anywhere on City Island. To me, it's so romantic to get off at the first stop on the Bx29 and then walk down the avenue on a summer evening...

Shortline Bus Posted March 15, 2009 Author Share #40 Posted March 15, 2009 Heard about that place from a friend. Said it was really good. Now I must check it out for myself. I ate that too and the food is excellent. For about $50 you can feed about 2-3 people for dinner depending on order which for a Manhattan based diner is not a bad price. Their BBQ chicken is MMM Good:tup::cool: FYI. Does Dallas BBQ still offer a the lunch time special of 2 full Chicken meals for S10.00 monday-fridays? That a good baragin. Abusive aren't we. Be nice, as some guys like rough young women. Might turn on some nut-jobs on the board, or lurking the board........ I absolutely LOVE eating anywhere on City Island. To me, it's so romantic to get off at the first stop on the Bx29 and then walk down the avenue on a summer evening... I drive down the Avenue on a summer evening, since I got my bus size automobile. City Island is a place to go for a first date, granted one has the money to do so. It is expensive, but that is where I take my dates too. Lobster House........ I think Rokusix & others there at least '3' Hooters in NYC metro area. 1)Midtown-7th Avenue (i think between 53and 54th St.) 2)Leviittown/Uniondale, LI-Hempstead Turnpike near Nassau Colseuim. 3)Paramus, NJ-Route 17 South not far from Garden State plaza.
