  1. Funny how it's advertised assaulting an employee is punishable by up to 7 years but almost every incident like this one rarely anybody gets caught
  2. So just to be clear, only M66 and M60 are moving? Everything else stays at their depots? I remember hearing of other movements, including the M79/86.
  3. The first part, you may be up to something. Assuming all pre-2011 buses are retired by the end of this year, that's 355 AEBs to be delivered to replace the 2011 units. In my memory, there are the 90 BT&E buses (7000-7089, 8000-8089, 4810-4899) totaling 270 units. That leaves 85 buses to be delivered. This could be possible confirmation of AEBs to WF. 85 buses to replace 88 C40 units. But we shall see.
  4. Other confirmed orders via the finance committee: 355 Standard Battery Electric Buses (BEB) + 90 Artic Battery Electric Buses for NYCT for 445 of 470 electric units (award/delivery no later than 2024) 25 Standard Battery Electric Buses for MTA Bus (BEB) adding 25 to 445 ordered NYCT units (470 total) 5 standard Battery Electric Buses BT&E (see LFSe+ above) 45+15 Battery Electric Buses (60 XE40 bus order) 245 NYCT articulated bus order (order expected to be awarded/complete by the end of 2025) 25+25+85 MTA bus order (135 LFS bus order expected to begin soon) Purchase 173 MTA Bus Standard Diesel Buses (NOVA) by the end of 2024 Purchase 116 MTA Bus Standard Diesel Buses (NF) by the end of 2024 Purchase 250 MTA Bus Express Buses by the end of 2026
  5. Notes from today's board meeting: 60 bus order XE40 expected pilot service Beginning spring 2023 5 bus order LFSe+ expected Fall 2023
  6. Express buses is a bit much to add. Discount yes, but express service is not something everyone should be getting on for free.
  7. XE40 4965 has been built and is expected to be delivered to NYC soon
  8. 7486 from JA was spotted in GH Edit: 7484-7489 are reported JA to GH Additional edit: 7490-98 as well. Gonna keep an eye out for these units but in total 15 units are reported at GH.
  9. Gotta remember the MTA is a state funded company, so whatever the state sees fit they'll do their best to push things for their perspective. With Cuomo out of office, it becomes easier for the MTA to discontinue wifi without political influence.
  10. I had to double check on this because I was thinking "Wait, is the Q1 really gonna be based out of QV or would the merger actually have it based out of JFK, making this an MTA bus route with an NYCT label?"
  11. "Transition time". Since someone unfamiliar with the new OMNY system can potentially try tapping with a MetroCard by accident and god forbid they get stopped for fare evasion.
  12. It was already mentioned SEVERAL TIMES that they are waiting for the MetroCard to be phased out
  13. 1. Proposed 2. Basically a split B6 (Bath Beach -Canarsie and Canarsie - New Lots )
  14. If it ain't broken don't fix it ig But an unpopular opinion would be to discontinue the B6 LTD fully with the B5/103 LTD and create a separate local line that would connect with NL and canarsie if need be.
  15. Which becomes moot when you have to crawl through heavy transit hubs especially with the couple routes extended through Jamaica.
  16. This is a general statement, but every time I try to connect to the Wi-Fi it is either slow or laggy to the point it becomes unusable. I don't want extremely great WiFi, but WiFi that works. I have a feeling that they made the internet slower unpurpose as a away to "find a reason" to cut more things, and if nobody is "using the WiFi", then why is it around?
  17. Probably the same reason someone would be confused at 2 Av/125 St if they saw a Bx15/M15 at the same time even though they are completely different. I would assume it would be similar to the N20G/Q20A/Q20B and N6/Q6.
  18. I'm thinking he might of saw 4437 which is actually assigned to LG.
