Sea Beach Posted December 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 25, 2009 What a way to start off my Christmas,I caught the R32 at 2nd Ave and not only that, one of the cars had Rollsign Knobs! You know what that means! BTW,I thought only the R32 on the has them? And before I share everything,I would just like to talk about a fight I had with an worker at Lex/53rd. I was taking a pic of the and she came out of no where and started screaming like a mad woman "NO PHOTOGRAPHY!!!! PUT THAT CAMERA AWAY NOW!!!!!!!!!" She started to grab my arm as I was putting away the cam. I said to her "Dont put your hands on me,I have something to show you" I showed her the Photo Directive, she read and said "I dont care what this says,if you dont stop I am getting a cop on your ass!". I looked at her and I said "I have no time for you" as an train was pulling in. I said to her "Merry Christmassssss!!!" and she said "It aint Merry for me!" and I got on the train. Anyways, lets get to the stuff! This is where the fight happened, you can see some of the workers standing nearby. I wouldve gotten a better shot but there was yellow tape there because they were painting Rollsign time! Some kid was playing with it to! Other shots: Forest Hills-71 Ave: Enjoy! -
SevenEleven Posted December 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 25, 2009 Nice catch and pics! About the R32s, I think there's only 2 in the system. Jamaica having one of those cars and Pitkin having the other.
MattTrain Posted December 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 25, 2009 Nice photos and videos. Oh gosh, another fight with a station worker, that is the main reason I am not photographing the subways as much anymore. I feel really bad for you. However, playing with the R-32 sign, oh-oh! Looks like you had fun!

RTS CNG Command Posted December 25, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 25, 2009 Ouch. Yet another station worker getting all 9/11 paranoid. I'm glad you stood your ground and showed her the photo directive, though. (Anyone have a link?) If I met her and if she acted like a jackass, I would've gone on the train and possibly say something sexually offensive to her. Anyway, nice work and catch of the R32 .

bveguy Posted December 25, 2009 Share #20 Posted December 25, 2009 Just state what time and what station it occurred at. They should know who was there at that time... It is against the rules for a TA worker to put their hands on anyone.

FamousNYLover Posted December 27, 2009 Share #22 Posted December 27, 2009 Excellent picture, Sea Beach Vinny. It happened to me also, but not fight. When I was making video guide to "How to use +Select Bus Service" Not only station agent, even B/Os. B/O: You cannot take of buses. I was taking picture/video from public sidewalk. Doesn't bus and subways, trains count as public area?
DevilBus65 Posted December 27, 2009 Share #23 Posted December 27, 2009 You guys need to get jobs in transit, then you might understand us a little more. It can be a pain when someone interferes with your lively hood. Especially frustrating is people messing with equipment, and even though it can be funny,it is not cool. Besides a police officer just might decide to lock you up for your trouble.
bveguy Posted December 27, 2009 Share #24 Posted December 27, 2009 Well then B/Os and T/Os and C/Rs need to be warned that they might be photographed or recorded on their job. After hearing that, it is their choice on whether it is to take the job or not.
