Because that's definitely how deliveries with new bus models exactly works. All MTA bus depots need training on the new units and need a unit to train in before "getting their batch".

If I remember, Eastchester isn't getting the Nova order. They are getting future XD-40 units, 34 in-total, hence the LGA XD-40s at Eastchester for training but no Novas. 9075-9098 may be at JFK (or LGA, assignments can subject to change).

I would not count on this being accurate going by how the previous Nova deliveries were done.

Correct me if im wrong but BP gets 46 (8964-9009) and JFK/FR get 89 (9010-9098) which is part of the 135 LFS order, LGA will be receiving their LFS through the 173 LFS order.

I suggest everyone to check this forum post from the Fleet & Depots thread regarding the allocation of the new Bus Co Novas and Xcelsiors. The amount of buses for the depots were confirmed, but the depot placements have not been set in stone yet.

As of now, BP is expected to get their first LFS sometime in June and July, JFK gets their first LFS in August and LGA gets their first LFS sometime in Sep-Nov.

I wonder if the reason for ECH receiving  extra busses is because of  the queens redesign 

 I know the q50 is proposed to be extended to Lagudia airport. Thus the need for 9 more busses.

The 7 and 20 already run right next to the KB depot and it makes no sense to move local routes to a depot that doesn't have the space to take them.

Yonkers aint getting local buses or local service.

They can't simply transfer Bronx MaBSTOA routes to MTA Bus. There's a lot more they have to do than just transfer routes, and it would be a whole lot of trouble...

I've heard the the city of  Yonkers wants MTA Bus off their land as soon as possible because  they want to redevope  it.

CP isn’t getting anything either but there is a CNG order coming up so CP and SC will probably be getting some new buses within the next year or two. Hard to believe some of the C40LF’s are turning 12 this fall.

Well this is no surprise BUT per the latest "upcoming delivery list", LaGuardia is getting 83 LFS while JFK/Far Rockaway increased to 64 LFS. This is coming from the 173 LFS order. So in total, JFK/Far Rockaway would receive 145 LFS while LaGuardia receives ONLY 83 LFS. Of course, this is subject to change.

It was mentioned a few weeks ago that 4378 and 4582 made their way to LaGuardia, but the user didn't know if the buses were for service or for parts. Well, now we know the answer for one of the units.
