peacemak3r Posted September 13, 2014 Share #701 Posted September 13, 2014 Damn, did I read 24GB? I hope that's a base model..maybe they are ditching the 16GB models?
Cait Sith Posted September 13, 2014 Share #702 Posted September 13, 2014 Damn, did I read 24GB? I hope that's a base model..maybe they are ditching the 16GB models? It might be because of the OS taking up some of the space along with some other things. Nothing that is 16-32GB is truly that size when you factor in the OS space.
peacemak3r Posted September 13, 2014 Share #703 Posted September 13, 2014 I doubt it could be the OS, if I'm not mistaken, they are going to roll those out possibly with Android L? The developers edition of L wasn't too big, correct me if I'm wrong.

Via Garibaldi 8 Posted September 23, 2014 Share #705 Posted September 23, 2014 Smh... $700.00 for a phone that bends... Cheap crappola...
Lance Posted September 24, 2014 Share #706 Posted September 24, 2014 I just heard this on the news. This is ridiculous. The fact that it's thinner than previous phones should not mean they're "flexible" like that. This seems like a major design flaw and on a phone the size of the 6s, it looks like it would be very easy to bend. As someone who likes iPhones, I hope they address this post haste.

To think, my phone is just 2mm thicker AND is a Chinese company and it doesn't bend. 1 for the OnePlus One phone. =D I just heard this on the news. This is ridiculous. So much for Apple's build quality eh? As people know, I'm an avid Android user and I'd like to note time and time again, the 5/5S design was so much better. They should have sticked with it. Missabassie Posted September 29, 2014 Share #708 Posted September 29, 2014 Tim Cook is no Steve Jobs. Looking at this crappy quality, Jobs must be turning over in his grave...
Missabassie Posted October 13, 2014 Share #709 Posted October 13, 2014 Now I'm hearing reports of sammy's Note 4 with bendgate... What the hell!?
peacemak3r Posted October 14, 2014 Share #710 Posted October 14, 2014 I mean technically speaking, every phone "bends" with the right amount of force. Only main reason why Apple got so much flack about it, is because 90% of it's fan-base are either brainwashed idiots or brainwashed idiots.

Well, there's that, and all the other techies(like myself) making fun of it's thin sheeted aluminum backing, causing the problem in the first place. There's nothing on the inside that's really preventing it to flex, unlike other phones. There's no current phone on the market that you can bend with that much force with your own hands to see the innards of the device, except for the ill-fated 6+ --------------------------------------------- What we have here is a render of the rumored Nexus 6/Nexus X with Android L. Looks pretty hot to me. Rumor is that a silent launch will come either tomorrow or the 16th, but I'm taking that with a grain of salt. peacemak3r Posted October 15, 2014 Share #712 Posted October 15, 2014 By the way, for people that don't know, I believe OnePlus is finally rolling out with pre-orders.
Cait Sith Posted October 15, 2014 Share #713 Posted October 15, 2014 The Nexus 6 has been unveiled. I personally like it (me being a fan of Motorola and all), nice specs overall as well. Hopefully it's worth the purchase.
peacemak3r Posted October 16, 2014 Share #714 Posted October 16, 2014 I would have loved it even more if it was smaller, maybe a tad, like a 5.5" display, like my OnePlus One.

Cait Sith Posted August 4, 2015 Share #717 Posted August 4, 2015 I'm sure you can, but it's a lot of work.
Tonyboy515 Posted November 30, 2016 Share #718 Posted November 30, 2016 The time has come to begin talking about iPhone 8 rumors... I've heard that it will be a major design change. The screen might cover more of the front, and even wireless charging is a rumor. The iPhone 7 wasn't really that different from the 6/6S, so hopefully the 8 will have the rumored design change. Cait Sith Posted December 1, 2016 Share #719 Posted December 1, 2016 Wireless charging would only work if they go away from the metal design and go back to glass or aluminum. My current device is the HTC 10, and I love it's all-metal body and the Quick Charge 3.0.

A phone should be good at making a call that's it. Edited May 2, 2017 by Paolp
IRT Bronx Express Posted April 26, 2018 Share #724 Posted April 26, 2018 Android for me since August 2013. Time for a possible upgrade to Apple in the future. At least the battery lasts long, whereas my Samsung phone dies in one day SMH

At least the battery lasts long, whereas my Samsung phone dies in one day SMH I buy Sony phones for that very reason—battery life. I’m in the market for compact customizable phones with long battery life. Apple seems to have left that market as many other Android phone manufacturers have. The majority of phones are too big and have short battery life. Apple also has the additional disadvantage of taking the walled-garden approach to apps and operating system customization.
