IRT Bronx Express Posted November 18, 2010 Share #802 Posted November 18, 2010 Nope, still time. This currently-existing Bronx bus used to terminate at Pelham Parkway. Hint #1 - This bus didn't short turn at Pelham Parkway, rather it was its northern terminal. Hint #2 - This current bus used to travel along with the Bx12. IRT Bronx Express Posted February 18, 2011 Share #804 Posted February 18, 2011 It's time for me to reveal the answer. Bx5. This currently-existing Bronx bus used to terminate at Pelham Parkway. At what intersection? Williamsbridge Road. Hint #1 - This bus didn't short turn at Pelham Parkway, rather it was its northern terminal. The Bx5 today terminates at Pelham Bay as its northern terminal. Plus, there were no short turns for the Bx5 until the Bx54 was excised in 1990. Hint #2 - This current bus used to travel along with the Bx12. Via Pelham Parkway between Williamsbridge Rd and Pelham Bay. Anyone can go and post the next trivia.
