I'll give this a try.

 

In the 1970s, there was a route that was proposed but it never came to light except in June of 2010 ONLY due to budget cuts. Here's a hint: the route is in Brooklyn. Name the route that was proposed in the 70s as well as the route that takes the path of this proposed 1970s route.

being a brooklynite, this was too easy...

since the question was already answered, I'll await the next one...

The fact that the old Bx7 used to terminate at Pelham Parkway never crossed my mind. That service pattern was pre-1984 (which I never asked :P), but why not? You're correct, but there's another one.

The only other route I can think of is the old Bx13 (present day Bx22), but that is an overnight terminal :confused:
