Brighton Express Posted May 6, 2012 Share #653 Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) NEXT (let's avoid the foam here): Because of a switch control failure, the switches in Homeball Alley cannot be switched. This means everything between 125 St and 145 St on CPW. The switches are set in the favor of 207 St. via the Brighton Beach to 47-50 Sts (Brighton/6 Av Express) via the 47-50 Sts to 21 St via the 36 St to 71 Av (Queens Blvd Local) via the Coney Island to 59 St (West End Local/4 Av/6 Av Express) via the 59 St to 168 St (CPW/UWS Local) via the 161 St to 205 St via the 161 St to 205 St One <S> runs on the Express track, leaving terminals every 10 mins Edited May 6, 2012 by trainguy97

Brighton Express Posted May 6, 2012 Share #655 Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) Why not just have the run CPW local and the CPW express, so the stay to 168/207 and the to Concourse? Because according to the track map, all the switches are set in favor of the , with the exception of the downtown from Grand Concourse. Have a look; Nothing can go up Concourse. You said it yourself that the switches were broken. The would be fine, but the would have no choice but to run via the Local to 168 St. Edited May 7, 2012 by trainguy97
Gorgor Posted May 6, 2012 Share #656 Posted May 6, 2012 Hey Guys! 34 St Blew up. No trains can go past 34 Street, and buses can't cross it. Have fun.
NX Express Posted May 7, 2012 Share #657 Posted May 7, 2012 If the both run via CPW local, and the is not there, there's nothing stopping the switches from being set to CPW Local > Concourse. Nobody ever said trains cannot diverge, just that switches can't be moved.

B to Brighton Posted May 7, 2012 Share #659 Posted May 7, 2012 This thread is very enjoyable when everybody here keep making what the title suggests... I think its better we keep doing that instead of discuss who post or not a situation or if a situation could or not happen, or it may be closed and i guess nobody here wants that. Anyway, lets play instead of discuss it. Next: Due to water issues, the Bowery Station is closed.

Best scenario there would be to extend the to 71st-Continental to help the while the is shortened to Essex or is re-routed to Chambers or Broad.
