nostalgia Posted February 11, 2012 Share #42 Posted February 11, 2012 Its more than 24 hours so the answers were:N78,N79,N80,N81 Whoever wants to go can go The question was which BUSES, not bus routes were part of Mid-Island Transit. MID has fishbowls 641-652 with 651 and 652 as suburbans with reclining seats, two TDH4506s (550-551?) and what I call half buses TDMs one half the size of a TDH4506. The half buses were numbered 301-325. In terms of routes, the N50 was left off the list. The MID routing was following the N80 but verring right onto Wantagh Avenue, followed by a right on Hempstead Turnpike, crosstown making a left on Bellmore or Newbridge Roads. (I found an old schedule on the internet but can't find it now.)
