Here i guess you can post anything special or rare you saw that you didnt have time to take a picture of. feel free to post what you saw...stuff.

 

1. R40M on the (N) between Ditmars Blvd. and Astoria Blvd. yes, it was in service, and yes there were people on it.

(Going toward Astoria Blvd. @ roughly 3:15 PM)

 

2. R32 (H) at Queens Plaza on 7/10/08

(On the local track @ quees plaza headed toward manhattan @ 7:55 AM)

 

3. Not so rare, but 3 R32's (7/10/08) on the (R)

(all headed toward 71st - Continental Ave. 7:40-8:00 AM)

Hmmm.....strange. R32s shouldn't be seeing Queensboro Plaza (unless its a rerouted (R) ), unless you mean downstairs underground at Queens Plaza.

2. R32 (H) at Queens Boro Plaza on 7/10/08

 

3. Not so rare, but 3 R32's on the (R)

 

 

1.) Cool, heard about the Mod (N).

 

2.) R32 (H)? at Queens Plaza OR QueensBoro Plaza? As far as I know, no R-32s are assigned to the (N)(W) which make a stop at Queensboro Plaza. Perhaps it was Queens Plaza on the (E) or (R)? Was it an R-32 Garbage / Work Train at Queensboro Plaza? Sorry for all the questions, but thats a rarity ( in our days ) over there now:cool:

It was at Queens Plaza

Perhaps it was Queens Plaza on the (E) or (R)?

I believe it was a rerouted (R).

Was it an R-32 Garbage / Work Train at Queensboro Plaza?

No, Queens Plaza, a regular (R)

ooh i forgot. on tuesday i was on the (7) around 11:15 AM headed toward Shea Stadium. As you know, the seats on the (7) are red, orange, and yellow. but at the end of the row i was facing, there were 2 seats that looked like the R160 seats.

Certain R62As on the (7)<7> have replacement seats for the originals. For what reason, I don't know. Maybe someone vandalized the original seats beyond repair.

I have too, on the (F). But it was on the cars with the SMS flooring ( The Black Floor )

 

Speaking of that, is there any word of more R46 cars getting those floors?
