realizm Posted July 31, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 31, 2013 I must be nuts railfanning the IRT 7th Ave Line in the middle of rush hour after work! I applied the use of different filters along with various contrast, saturation and color hue settings with the pics. Plus three short clips of 7th Ave express trains caught @ Houston Street and one lone departing train @ South Ferry Loop. Here you go. realizm Posted July 31, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted July 31, 2013 Great ones! I hope my advice worked out! Thanks! Yeah from the off line discussion your advice did indeed work and these are the results so far. Also took a hint from others here on this board who are skilled on photography and going at it on this site for years. How do you get these filters. I like this. The filters are preinstalled as part of the software OS inside the camera itself, in its hardware, as it is digital. In my case, the Canon EOS Rebel T3i DSLR. realizm Posted August 1, 2013 Author Share #12 Posted August 1, 2013 Was that a picture of the R62 ? Now to be honest I was not sure, I took that pic in the middle of rush hour, it was hard to tell since that station was insanely jampacked and it was very difficult to move around. Should have caught the car number to tell.
MattTrain Posted August 2, 2013 Share #13 Posted August 2, 2013 Very cool great job considering that those platforms were jammed packed
realizm Posted August 2, 2013 Author Share #14 Posted August 2, 2013 Damn wtf? Thanks. Take a rain check dude. Get back to you, +1 Yeah I wanted that effect, to see ppl all over the place as I take pics of the rolling stock and through the camera filter it out, that's the multimedia style I was trying to portray and practice on. Make it as such we would see in the newspapers and e-zines where it relates to NYC, really gives the impression of NYC as it is a bustling city full of action.
